Located along the Southwest Freeway (I-69) in Sharpstown, Arena Theatre is one of the most unique and longest-standing music venues in the city of Houston.
Built in 1965 with the help of comedian Bob Hope, Arena Theatre features a circular, rotating stage in its center, with seating fanning out in all directions. The novel design ensures that any of the up to 2800 attendees are never further than 60 feet from the stage, offering one of the closest concert experiences from any seat in the house.
Arena Theatre also features a diverse calendar of performances and live events, including musicians from the worlds of country, R&B, hip hop, Latin music, and, less frequently, comedians and even Mixed Martial Arts events.
Parking is available on-site in the adjoining garage and provides access to the freeway and nearby restaurants in the surrounding area, including some of Houston’s most diverse cuisines with offerings from taquerias, Indian, and Asian establishments along the nearby Bellaire Boulevard.
