13 Celsius is laidback lounge in tucked away in quieter corner of Midtown, offering up wine and small plates at a long white marble bar and open courtyard.
Taking its name from its climate-controlled cellar (set at 13 degrees Celsius, what else?), the lounge is housed in a 1920s era Mediterranean-style building and furnished with pieces salvaged from Houston’s historic Warwick Hotel.
It’s noted for a warm and knowledgable staff and extensive wine list. Small plate offerings include cheese, charcuterie, panini sandwiches, and handmade truffles.
The bar also features more than 30 bottled beers and a continually rotating draught selection that highlights brews produced seasonally and in miniscule productions.
All wines are also avalable for retail sale. Click here for more information.
