Pint of Science Festival at True Anomaly Brewing | Monday to Wednesday – Meet the people responsible for the future of science, and have a drink with them at nightly evening sessions—”How to Cook the Early Universe and Not Fry Your Spacecraft”, “Machines Thinking, Particles Synching: The Future Called—It Wants Its Tech Back!”, and “Air We Go: Houston, We Have a Solution!” $2 per evening. 7pm to 9:30pm each night.

Ligare Gatherings: Guided Catan + Wine Night at Camerata at Paulie’s | Tuesday – Get in the mood for the long weekend early at the debut edition of “Game night, reimagined”—a curated, 3-hour evening of playing popular Settlers of Catan game led by expert guides to match you with kindred spirits and keep the night flowing in Montrose’s destination wine bar. $45; $35 with promo code GAMENIGHTREINVENTED includes the experience and first drink. 7pm.

TUTS: In the Heights at The Hobby Center | Tuesday to Sunday | Ongoing – The all-new production of the Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegria Hudes musical follows the residents of a block in NYC’s Washington Heights as they come together to dream, hope and celebrate life. $35+. Times vary.

Chacra Wine Dinner at Hugo’s | Thursday – Savor vintages from Bodega Chacra in Patagonia, Argentina in a multi-course culinary journey by Chefs Hugo and Ruben Ortega, and joined by winery owner Piero Incisa della Rochetta. $140. 6:30pm.

Flock’s Giants of the Past & Present: Light Bites & Cocktails at Houston Zoo | Thursday – Savor light bites and cocktails while mingling with the zoo’s ambassador animals and zookeepers. $45; free for members. 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Dancin’ in the Street… Motown & More Revue at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday to Saturday | FREE – H-Town’s beloved Motown & More show returns with a new installment to put the summer into high gear, with a lively showcase of hits from Marvin Gaye, Chaka Khan, The Isley Brothers; Rick James, Whitney Houston, SWV, and Frankie Beverly & Maze. 8:15pm nightly.

Kinetic Ensemble: Deep Rooted at MATCH | Friday – Closing out its milestone 10th season, Kinetic presents a curated evening of premieres. $30; $15 students. 7:30pm.

Comedian Pablo Francisco at Houston Improv | Friday to Sunday – Beloved for his high-energy performances and quick wit, the comic brings his unique blend of observational humor, impersonations, and offbeat characters back to Houston. $31.40+. Times vary.

Bumper Boats & Kayaks on Kinder Lake at Discovery Green | Opens Friday| Ongoing – Returning to launch the summer season, Bumper Boats—which are exactly what they sound like—will be joined by clear, LED-lit kayaks that shine at night. $12; $20 for a combo. 10am to 10pm daily.

CMH 45th Birthday Kick-Off Party at Children’s Museum Houston | Saturday Kid party like it’s 1980 and kick off a year-long 45th birthday celebration with a midday confetti drop, DJ Tyler’s beats, a velcro wall, party hat crafts, and more. $19.95. 9am to 5pm. 

11th Anniversary Celebration at B-52 Brewing | Saturday | No Cover – Conroe’s brewery in the woods marks 110% of a decade with special beer tappings, glassware, limited cellar releases, beer slushies, food trucks, flash tattoos, and more. Noon to 8pm-ish. 

Buzzfest 2025 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Saturday – The alternative rock music fest returns to The Woodlands with performances by headliners Chevelle, Marilyn Manson, Blue October, P.O.D., and more. $29 and up. 1pm.

Kids Day: Houston Dash vs. Bay FC at Shell Energy Stadium | Saturday – Kids rule at an afternoon game where the Dash will defend home pitch against the ladies of the California Bay Area. $14+. 4pm.

2025 Pearland Wine Festival at Pearland Town Center | Saturday – Savor unlimited tastings of vino from top-tier wine brands, with live music, a local vendor market, artisanal treats, gourmet pairings, and more. $60. 4pm to 9pm.

Pickle Festival at Karbach Brewing Co. | Sunday | FREE – Show up for pickle eating, tossing, and juice chugging contests, plus vendors with snacks and pickle-inspired goodies, brews, tunes by DJ Mohawl, and more. 11am to 6pm.

Beats, Brews & Barks at Maven at Sawyer Yards | Sunday | FREE – Bring your 4-legged best friend, or find a new one, at a special pup-forward edition of the popular Beats & Brews Sunday series, with adoptions, free Lucky Dog nail trims, tunes by DJ Saynt Chris, a literal dog run with Loose Lace Run Club, vendors, and more. 11:15am to 2pm.

Islamic Arts Society: A High Tea Party at Silver Street Studios | Sunday – Sip on a variety of teas, nosh delicate pastries, and delve into the arts at a fancy mixer in a charming setting in Arts District Houston. $161.90. 5pm.
