- Sing 2 Movie Screening at Levy Park | Friday, May 27 | FREE – Set up your blankets and chairs for the family to catch an outdoor screening of the 2021 pop singalong, Sing 2, and join Buster Moon to follow another one of his dreams with his talented crew of singers. 8:30pm.
- Memorial Weekend at Lone Star Flight Museum | Friday, May 27 to Sunday, May 29 – Salute the brave on Memorial Day Weekend with an in-depth celebration of planes large and small, plus get hands-on with a mini-rocket engineering activity, learn about air signaling, take a free tour, and more. $18; $15 for ages 12 to 17 and 65+; $12 for ages 4 to 11. - Kids are All Write! at Smithers Park | Saturday, May 28 – Former Director of Writers in the Schools, Robin Reagler leads this workshop for ages 7 to 12 that will have kiddos writing and sharing their own stories and poems at the inspirational Smither Park. $5 per person. 10am to noon.
- Let’s Go Mario! at Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center | Saturday, May 28 – Snap a pic with the Nintendo legend explore all that’s on offer at the Discovery Center, including STEM activities, make-believe, a first responder experience and more. $15 for ages 1 and up. 10am to 2pm.
- Houston Horizon Chorus at Children’s Museum Houston | Saturday, May 28 – From Pinocchio to The Muppets, this delightful medley of favorite tunes from Houston Horizon Chorus will captivate all ages at their afternoon performance in Museum District. $15 for ages 1 and up. Showtimes at 11am and 1:30pm.
- Blooms & Berries Festival at P-6 Farms | Opens Saturday, May 28 & Sunday, May 29 – Kicking off this weekend through mid-June, the Blooms and Berries Festival lets you hit the patch to pick strawberries, blackberries, and sunflowers, plus enjoy carnival rides, photo ops, and more. $15.95; free for ages under 3. 9am to 1pm.
- Retropalooza Houston at Pasadena Convention Center | Saturday, May 28 & Sunday, May 29 – Bring the fam out for a video game extravaganza, featuring YouTube gaming personalities, all-era gaming, contests, competitions and guest panels. $20 and up; free for ages 12 and up. 10am to 5pm.
- Memorial Day at Town Green Park in the Woodlands | Sunday, May 29 | FREE – Kick off summer with a patriotic celebration that honors the military service of those who sacrificed most for the United States. This evening celebration features a commemoration ceremony, live Motown and funk music from Level One Band, children’s activities, strolling entertainment and a fireworks show to cap it off. 5pm to 9pm.
