38th Annual Houston Art Car Parade on Allen Parkway & in Downtown | Saturday, April 12 | FREE – One of Houston’s most beloved traditions is back as a parade of wacky, decked out art cars roll through the streets to cheering crowds. The parade officially begins at 2pm on Allen Parkway at the I-45 overpass, heading into Downtown before circling City Hall and heading outbound on Allen Parkway out of Downtown. Other highlights of the day include the Lineup Party at 11am on Allen Parkway between Taft and Bagby, offering a close-up view of all 250+ Art Cars as they get ready to roll in the parade; Kids Creative Zone at 11am at Sam Houston Park, a free kick-off to the parade with fun activities for both kids and adults, hands-on creative experiences and live performances; and After Party in Market Square Park at 5pm.
Easter Three Ways at Brennan’s of Houston | Friday, April 18 to Easter Sunday, April 20 – The famed Creole fine dining spot invites families to enjoy an Easter Weekend full of family fun and tasty eats.
