This summer, live music fans around town will be treated to classic rock acts, free local shows, and legendary musicians in performances not to be missed.
While some of these groups are returning to Houston for another packed stadium tour, one, in particular, gives his final farewell and highlights a busy month of concerts around H-town.

- Paul Simon at Toyota Center | Saturday, June 2 – With over a half-century of hits, this singer-songwriter has finally decided to say goodbye to touring. That makes his show at Toyota Center in early June your last chance to see the acclaimed musician. - The Eagles and Chris Stapleton at Minute Maid Park | Friday, June 15 – One of the most commercially successful rock bands of all time, The Eagles land at Minute Maid Park for one night during their massive stadium tour. Nashville recording artist Chris Stapleton returns after his packed-house night at Rodeo Houston in March. - Slim Thug at BFE Rock Club | Saturday, June 23 – Houston’s very own lands in the Cy-Fair venue for a rap performance with DJ Massiv on the decks. Tickets are $30. 8pm.
- Weezer, Pixies, The Wombats at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Friday, June 29 – A double headlining act for these famed alt-rock groups promises a night full of favorites and cuts from the recent Weezer album, Pacific Daydream. The Wombats support on the heels of their new album, Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life. - Dirty Projectors at White Oak Music Hall | Saturday, June 30 – Ahead of their July release of Lamp Lit Prose, the Brooklyn sextet fronted by David Longstreth brings their eclectic mix of inventive vocals and musicality to the downstairs room at White Oak.
