Take in a visionary virtual performance from one of Houston’s own when Pegstar and White Oak Music Hall present Tobe Nwigwe: The Pandemic Experience, live streamed on Sunday, September 27, 2020.

Known for his blend of meaningful lyrics, activism and high-art visuals, Tobe Nwigwe has not only made a mark on Houston but also the world of pop music in the short yet prolific time he’s been active.

An Alief native and first-generation Nigerian-America, Nwigwe strives to “make purpose popular” with his brand of raptivism, garnering fans that include Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, Erykah Badu, Dave Chappelle and many more.
