The Savannah Bananas vs. The Texas Tailgaters at Daikin Park | Friday & Saturday – The 2025 Banana Ball World Tour lands in Downtown, as the hilarious Savannah Bananas—known for antics, hijinks and choreographed pop culture dances–battle their new  Lone Star State banana ball rivals. $190+. 7pm both nights. ROCO in Concert: Feels Like Home Around Houston | Friday & Saturday | FREE at Miller – The full 40-piece chamber orchestra conducted by Delyana Lazarova offers 2 performances to kick off their 21st season. 16th Annual Galveston Island Wild Texas Shrimp Festival in Downtown Galveston | Friday & Saturday – Starting with the sure-to-sell-out Friday Kick-Off Party, Saturday afternoon’s main event, the Shrimp Gumbo Cook-Off and Gumbo Stroll happens on the island’s Historic Strand, with sampling cups available for pre-purchase for $16+. Iron Bartender 2025 Finals at Lyric Market Houston’s top bartenders go head-to-head in the annual competition, raising funds for pediatric cancer programs at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center.
