- Park to Port Bike Ride at Hermann Park – Mount your bike and cruise down a 20-mile course that runs from Hermann Park’s Bayou Parkland to the Port of Houston, where a turn-around party awaits with snacks, drinks, and music. After completing the course, you can celebrate at the finish line with a post-race party. Tickets are $35, plus fees. 7:30am.
- Houston Black Heritage Music & Arts Festival at Midtown Park | FREE – Enjoy an afternoon of live music, food, fashion, art, and guest speakers to promote diversity and celebrate African American culture at the Houston Black Heritage Music & Arts Festival in Midtown Park. Noon to 9pm.
- Love & Make’s Bath Bomb Making Workshop in Rice Village – Create your own luxurious, scented bath bomb at this DIY workshop, hosted by Love & Make in Rice Village. The family-friendly activity allows crafters to incorporate essential oils and experiment with fun colors. $55. Noon.
- The Great State of Texas Food Truck Festival in the East End – Taste the diversity of Houston’s culinary community at the inaugural Great State of Texas Food Truck Festival in the Historic East End district at 4450 Harrisburg. Tickets are $10; free admission before 2pm. Noon to 10pm.
- University of Houston Cougars vs. University of Memphis Tigers at TDECU Stadium – Watch as the Cougars take the field to play the Tigers at TDECU Stadium. Tickets start at $25, but you may find better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. Start time is TBA.
- Hangar Bash at Lone Star Flight Museum – Nosh on barbecue, sample craft beers from Houston’s top breweries, and party among the Lone Star Flight Museum’s vintage historical aircraft when the museum hosts its second annual Hangar Bash. Tickets start at $50. 2pm to 6pm.
- Firefly Run at Buffalo Bayou Park – Take your mark, get set, and race through Buffalo Bayou Park in this visually stimulating 5K race, complete with colorful lights, live music, and a post-race party. Registration is $45 in advance; $60 on race day, if available. Warm-ups begin at 5pm.
- Houston Rockets vs. Dallas Mavericks at Toyota Center – Cheer loud for the Rockets when they hit the court to play the Mavs at Toyota Center. Tickets start at $25, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 5pm.
- ROCO In Concert: Hope for Beauty at The Church of St. John the Divine – Catch the ROCO premiere of Bruce Adolphe’s full chamber orchestra piece, I Too Bleed, as well as Hope for Beauty, which pays homage to Alma Rose, niece of Gustav Mahler and conductor of the women’s orchestra at Auschwitz. Expect to hear additional works by Edward Elgar, Giya Kancheli, and Manuel de Falla. Tickets are $35. 5pm.
- KSBJ & NGEN Radio present For King & Country: Burn the Ships Tour at Berry Center – Experience an inspirational, theatrical night of music and stories by Christian pop duo For King & Country as they bring their “Burn the Ships World Tour” to Houston’s Berry Center. Tickets start at $20. 7pm.
- Comedian Joe Rogan at Toyota Center – Experience the humor and commentary of Joe Rogan, the former Fear Factor host, stand-up comedian, and notable podcaster, when he brings his live show to Toyota Center. - Thievery Corporation in Concert at House of Blues – Jam to a unique blend of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, Middle Eastern music, hip hop, electronica, and Brazilian music when Thievery Corporation performs live at House of Blues. - The Late Show: Bathtub Full of Gin at Prohibition Supperclub – You’re in for a sexy, booze-filled evening when the Moonlight Dolls take the stage for this 1920’s show at Prohibition Supperclub. Tickets start at $20, but limited, discounted $10 tickets are available. 11:30pm.

- La Porte By the BayHalf Marathon at Sylvan Beach Park – Lace up your running shoes and race through La Porte in the La Porte By the BayHalf Marathon, which starts at Sylvan Beach Park and ends at Five Points Plaza, where a post-race party awaits. They’ll offer food, cold beer, awards and more. Registration costs $85 through November 15; $90 at packet pickup; and $100 on race day. 7:30am.
- Bitches Who Brunch at Prohibition Supperclub & Bar – Grab a girlfriend and head to Prohibition for brunch and a show from the Moonlight Dolls. $25; limited discounted $15 tickets available. 11am.
- Love & Make’s DIY Jewelry Making Workshop in Rice Village – Create a custom piece of beautiful jewelry during a DIY class led by jewelry designer and shop owner Tanya Bagashka. During the class, Bagashka will demonstrate 13th-Century Arabic knotting techniques that you’ll then use to craft a pair of colorful, macrame earrings. $55. 11am.
- Perry Homes presents Brunch & Bubbly Tour of Homes at The Groves | FREE with RSVP – Perry Homes hosts their Brunch & Bubbly event every Sunday this November at The Groves, a one-of-a-kind, master-planned community in Humble. - HOU-ATX BBQ Throwdown at Saint Arnold Brewery – Determine which city cooks up Texas’ best barbecue when top pitmasters from Austin and Houston compete in the HOU-ATX BBQ Throwdown 2019, hosted by Saint Arnold Brewery. Tickets are $70. 1pm to 4pm.
- World Famous Gospel Brunch at House of Blues – Start your Sunday with a joyous morning of gospel singing and southern specialties at the World Famous Gospel Brunch at House of Blues. Local and regional talent take the stage for a show-stopping gospel performance complete with a mouth-watering spread of brunch and breakfast favorites. Tickets range from $19 to $42, but House of Blues gives thanks to you by offering savings on the last Gospel Brunch of the year. - 2019 Houston Women’s Polo Championship at Houston Polo Club – Cheer on polo finalists competing in the largest Women’s Tournament in the World at Houston Polo Club. The event will include live music, a champagne divot stomp, door prizes, and a meet and greet after the match. - Bayou City Jazz Series presents Nick Colionne and Paul Taylor at The Wortham Theater Center – Jazz up your Sunday night with a live concert from Nick Colionne and Paul Taylor at the Wortham Theater Center’s Cullen Theater. Tickets start at $53.50. 5pm to 7pm.
- Pennywise in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – Check out a live show by California-based punk rock band Pennywise when they perform at White Oak Music Hall.
