9th Annual Houston Latino Film Festival at MATCH | Wednesday to Sunday – Boasting 70 short and feature films from across the world, the 5-day film fest also offers films, panels, workshops and music events. $65 all access pass; individual tickets vary. Times vary.

Spring Break Events Around Greater Houston | Daily | Some FREE – Find entertainment, activities, camps, and more around Greater Houston this weekend. Most camps begin on Monday, March 10. 

Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo at NRG Park | Daily – Enjoy all the rodeo action, live concerts, and a variety of all ages fun from carnival rides, outrageous festival food, drinks and more. Rodeo grounds open from 8am to midnight daily. Event times vary.

The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks at Space Center Houston | Daily Embark on an 50-minute immersive film, narrated and co-written by Tom Hanks, bringing lunar exploration to life. Included with admission—$29.95 and up. Screenings run from 10:30am to 3:30pm.

Underground Sounds: Sam Nester in Concert at the Buffalo Bayou Cistern | Daily – The Australian-born trumpet player, composer and sound artist performs a concert in the incredible, underground space. $25. 5:30 and 6:30pm.

Neon Brush: A Glow-in-the-Dark Painting Experience at Resurrection MCC | Thursday to Saturday – Grab your date for a glow-in-the-dark painting experience where you can create your own original works over tunes and drinks in a UV-lit room. $34. Future dates available. 6pm and 8:15pm nightly.

4th Wall Theatre Co.: Topdog/Underdog at Spring Street Studios | Thursday to Saturday | Final Weekend – It’s your last chance to catch this play about two brothers’ lifetime of sibling rivalry and resentment that was so popular with audiences, the company extended the run. $52 and up. Showtimes vary.

Death of a Salesman at The Rec Room | Thursday to Saturday – The theater opens its 2025 season with this American theater classic, telling the story of a salesman named Willy Loman who is trying to achieve the American dream. $20 and up. Showtimes vary.

Main Street Theater for Youth: Elephant & Piggie: We Are In A Play at MATCH | Thursday to Saturday – The beloved Mo Willems characters take to the stage in a musical that’s perfect for pre-K and up. $24 and up. Showtimes vary.

Comedian Nick Swardson at Houston Improv | Thursday to Sunday – A regular on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Conan, the comic brings his unique viewpoint to H-Town for 6 sets.  $70 for 2 and up. Times vary.

Houston Ballet: The Sleeping Beauty at Wortham Center | Thursday to Sunday – The timeless fairy tale tells the enchanting story of Princess Aurora, cursed into a deep sleep and awakened by true love’s kiss. $25 and up. Showtimes vary.

Annual Book Sale & Rosenberg Day at Rosenberg Library in Galveston | Friday & Saturday | FREE – Embark on a literary treasure hunt of unique gently-used books, CDs, DVDs, and more. The sale continues on Saturday’s Rosenberg Day, with vendors, live music, games, hands-on activities, vendors, and more. Times vary.

Performing Arts Houston: The Great Gatsby Ballet at Wortham Center | Friday & Saturday – The World Ballet Company dances into the glitz, glamor, and tragic romance of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel. $45 and up. 7pm both nights.

The Big Bounce America at SaberCats Stadium | Friday to Sunday The Big Bounce America brings the world’s largest bounce house to SaberCats Stadium. $22 for ages 3 and under; $35 for ages 7 and under, $35 for ages 15 and under; $45 for adults only, with dedicated time slots for each. Times vary.
