  • The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival in Town Green Park | Friday to Sunday – A certain marker that spring has arrived, the 19th Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival brings more than 200 accomplished artists out to the Waterway shores and surroundings with live music, entertainment, and food and drink. $18; free for ages 12 and under. Times vary.
  • International Gem & Jewelry Show at NRG Center | Friday to Sunday – Find extraordinary one-of-a-kind jewelry creations, loose gemstones, beaded strands, pearls, watches, antique and estate jewelry, accessories, and more at the return of this weekend gem and jewelry show. $6 and up. Times vary.
  • Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers at Minute Maid Park | Friday to Sunday – Just two weeks into the season, the Astros get a rematch of the ALCS when the Texas Rangers come down South for a three-game series at Minute Maid. Giveaways across the weekend include an orange Altuve jersey, a Framber bobblehead, and an Astros cowboy hat. $29 and up. Times vary.
  • Crawfish & Zydeco Festival at Kemah Boardwalk | Saturday & Sunday | No Cover – Come hungry and ready to indulge in fresh-boiled crawfish while getting down to Zydeco tunes with a waterfront view in Kemah. Noon to 10pm.
  • Houston LatinFest at Crown Festival Park | Saturday & Sunday – Celebrate the Latin diversity of Houston at this 11th annual event that features a slate of Latin music performers and delicious foods from the Central and South American cuisines. $12 and up; free for ages 12 and under. 1pm to 10pm.

  • Sunset Yoga at the Water Works – Wind down your Thursday evening with the Breathing Room at Buffalo Bayou for this all-ages and levels session featuring golden hour views of Downtown. Bring your own mat. Suggested donation of $10. 6:30pm.
  • Wine & Cheese Pairing at the Texas Wine School – Jointly held with Houston Dairymaids, this two-hour class will set off all your senses as you learn the skills to make your own pairings with six cheeses and wines. $85. 7pm.

  • Lecture: Durable Fragility, Ruth Asawa & the Materiality of Line at Menil Drawing Institute | FREE – Dr. Jordan Troeller brings you deeper into the multifaceted practice of artist Ruth Asawa, who shines a light on the fragility of drawing. 7pm.
  • Jade Bird in Concert at the Heights Theater – With the end of a relationship in 2022, the veteran musician built a short collection of songs that examine the various stages of grief and offer great insights—all of which can be heard at the intimate Heights stage. $24 and up. 8pm.
  • Carver Commodore in Concert at Last Concert Café – The Alabama rock ‘n’ roll band brings their latest EP, If Nothing Happens, to the near Downtown venue, with local indie band Heights. $15. 8pm.
  • Objekt DJ Set at Bauhaus – The Berlin-based DJ and producer lands in Downtown for another edition of Bauhaus’ Gulp series. $10 and up. 9pm to 2am.
