Step aboard to unravel a baffling mystery—where the protagonist herself realizes she’s an unreliable narrator—in a live stage production of The Girl on the Train at Alley Theatre showing from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, August 30, 2026.
Adapted from Paula Hawkins’ best-selling novel and the Dreamworks film starring Emily Blunt, the play follows Rachel, a British woman struggling with dependency.
She must piece together her fragmented memories to find a girl who’s gone missing.
As her night comes back to her in pieces, she considers, “Who can you trust when you can’t trust yourself?”
The Alley’s 2026 production in their annual Summer Chills mystery series is directed by Brandon Weinbrenner and stars Elizabeth Bunch stars as Rachel, with a bevy of the Alley’s company players joining the show.
