- Monster Jam at NRG Stadium | Saturday, February 10 – Get ready to see the beastly mayhem unleashed when 12,000-pound monster trucks, led by the legendary Grave Digger, defy gravity and take flight, pulling off tricks that’ll shake the ground beneath them. $20 and up. 6pm.
- Houston Rockets vs. New York Knicks at Toyota Center | Monday, February 10 – Ring in the Year of the Dragon with the Houston Rockets as Jalen Brunson and his New York Knicks come through Clutch City for a Lunar New Year match up that’ll feature special in-game entertainment as befits the holiday. $15 and up. 7pm.
- HBA Law Week 8K Fun Run at Sam Houston Park | Saturday, February 17 – Lace up those running shoes and join the legal eagles because the HBA Law Week Fun Run is back. Choose from an 8K run, 8K wheelchair division, a speedy 1K non-competitive children’s run, and a leisurely non-competitive one-mile family walk before it all culminates in an outdoor celebration. Registration starts at $45 for the 8K; $20 for the 1K kids run and the one-mile family walk. 7am to 11am.
- College Basketball: Houston Cougars vs. Texas Longhorns at Fertitta Center | Saturday, February 17 – It’s a Texas showdown that’s set to be hotter than an H-Town summer when the Coogs take on the Longhorns ahead of looming March Madness. $30 and up. 12pm.
- 2024 Cactus Jack HBCU Classic at Minute Maid Park | Friday, February 16 to Sunday, February 18 – The weekend baseball tournament returns, featuring squads from six Historically Black Colleges and Universities in a nine-game slate over three days. Festivities also include a free college fair on Saturday, plus a HBCU celebration ($100), and a gospel breakfast on Sunday ($25). Tickets are $10 each day and offers admission to all three games that day; $27 for a three-day pass to all games. Games at 11am, 3pm and 7pm.
- College Basketball: Houston Cougars vs. Iowa State at Fertitta Center | Monday, February 19 – It’s a Big 12 showdown when the Iowa State Cyclones come blowing through Coogs’ house. $30 and up. 6pm.
- Houston Rockets vs. Phoenix Suns at Toyota Center | Friday, February 23 – In their last dance in Houston for this season, Kevin Durant and his crew with the likes of Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and Eric Gordon come to set the hardwood ablaze. $15 and up. 7pm.
- Home Opener: Houston Dynamo FC vs. Sporting Kansas City at Shell Energy Stadium | Saturday, February 24 – After a big rebound season that saw the Dynamo back in the playoffs where they belong, they’ll kick off a new year against familiar foes from Kansas City. $18 and up. 7:30pm.
- Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder at Toyota Center | Sunday, February 25 – One of the top teams in the Western Conference, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, come to visit the Rockets in Clutch City. $13 and up. 6pm.
- College Basketball: Houston Cougars vs. Cincinnati at Fertitta Center | Tuesday, February 27 – In their second-to-last home game of the regular season, the Coogs will face off against the Bearcats. $30 and up. 6pm.
- Houston Dynamo FC vs. St. Louis at Shell Energy Stadium | Tuesday, February 27 – The Dynamo open play in the CONCACAF Champions Cup against St. Louis. The tournament features teams from across the North and Central American regions in a months-long battle for continental dominance. $9 and up. 9:30pm.
