• Themed Dance Nights at Barbarella | Wednesday through Saturday – Depending on the night you attend, you can get down to soulful Motown during Gritz ‘N Gravy, the hippest current tracks with New Noise, or even some throwbacks during their ’90s Night. Be sure to check their Facebook page for the themes each night, as they often change. Cover ranges between $1 to $10. Wednesday to Saturday 9:30pm to 3am.
• Midnight Madness: The Godfather at River Oaks Theatre | Friday and Saturday – Watch the classic film The Godfather at River Oaks Theatre for their Midnight Madness series. Tickets are $10.50. Midnight.

• Los Skarnales in Concert at Discovery Green | FREE to Attend – Dance to Los Skarnales mixture of ska, reggae, swing, cumbia with a punk twist as Discovery Green kicks off this season’s Thursday Concerts presented by Green Mountain Energy. Grupo Kache will open with their Latin flavor tunes and modern rhythms. 7pm to 9pm.
• Dinosaur Jr. in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – Hear all of Dinosaur Jr’s feedback-induced hits in the newly-opened White Oak Music Hall on the Near Northside of Houston. Tickets start at $22, not including ticket fees. 8pm.
• RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8 Stars at the Wortham Center – Catch contestants from Season 8 of Logo’s top-rated show as they rock the catwalk at Houston’s Wortham Center – Cullen Theater. Starring Bob the Drag Queen, who took home top twirling honors this season, and runners-up Kim Chi and Naomi Smalls, as well as Chi Chi DeVayne and Thorgy Thor.
