The Catastrophic Theatre

713-521-4533|catastrophictheatre.com

With its tagline of “We will destroy you,” Catastrophic is known for presenting the contemporary, the edgy, and often the downright weird.

From its in-house written wild musical romps that are part of the near-yearly “Tamarie Cooper” series (Tamarie for President, Tamarie Cooper: Field Trip) to world premieres like 2018-19’s First Suburb, the company uses a core group of actors to bring to life its often-absurd and always-exciting repertoire.

Catastrophic’s six-show season is typically presented at MATCH in Midtown and all performances are pay-what-you-can, as eliminating the barrier to seeing the arts is core to its mission.
