Feel the entrancing beats of SamulNori, a dancing Korean percussion ensemble performing traditional Korean music and dances with a fresh and enthralling modern energy at Wortham Theater Center on Saturday, March 8, 2014.

Fall under the spell of the hypnotic rhythms of SamulNori, the world-famous Korean percussion group. Group founder Kim Duk-Soo, master of the Changgo (hourglass-shaped drum), has assembled an entrancing band of dancing percussionists who play music based on 5,000-year-old Korean shamanist traditions.

Let your jaw drop as the drummers leap, spin and walk around the stage, all while producing music of the highest order. For select numbers, the musicians don hats topped with exotic plumes and colorful streamers that add brilliant splashes of color to an already exciting show.
