At long last, the Queen of Pop hits her rescheduled dates in Houston this week, but you can catch a ton of other live music going on in town with free shows on the Menil campus, opening night at the Miller Outdoor Theatre, and a special Bone Thugs set in Katy.

  • Mary Battiata & Little Pink at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck | Tuesday, March 26 – The alt-country Americana singer-songwriter and bandleader Mary Battiata brings her unique blend of of twangy folk-pop to the Upper Kirby stage with Little Pink for a boot-scootin’ Tuesday evening. $30 and up. 7pm.
  • Erick The Architect at House of Blues | Wednesday, March 27 – Out of Brooklyn, the rapper and producer Erick the Architect brings his Mandevillian tour to the House of Blues stage. $20 and up. 7pm.
  • Myra Melford Fire & Water Quintet at Cy Twombly Gallery | Wednesday, March 27 | FREE – Known for her mastery in balancing composition and improvisation, the dynamic and much lauded pianist Myra Melford brings her Fire & Water Quintet to the hauntingly beautiful Cy Twombly Gallery for two live performances. 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
  • Laetitia Sadier at White Oak Music Hall | Thursday, March 28 – The founding member and leader of the avant-garde disco pop band Stereolab, Laetitia Sadier, has just released her fifth studio album and will be showcasing her beautiful and hypnotic vocals when she brings music from Rooting for Love to H-town. $15 and up. 7pm.
  • Indigo De Souza at White Oak Music Hall | Friday, March 29 – The introspective Brazilian American indie pop singer-songwriter will celebrate the first birthday of her third studio album, 2023’s All of this Will End on the White Oak Music Hall stage. $25 and up. 7pm.
  • Madonna at Toyota Center | Thursday, March 28 & Friday, March 29 – The Queen of Pop’s rescheduled September dates are finally here as the Toyota Center welcomes the Celebration tour with more than four decades of Madonna’s hits. $98 and up. 8:30pm.
  • Ministry with Gary Numan & Front Line Assembly at House of Blues | Friday, March 29 – It’s about to be a night of epic ’80s proportions when industrial new wave heavy weights Ministry, Gary Numan, and Front Line Assembly team up for a triple threat show at House of Blues. $49.50 and up. 6pm.
  • Opening Night: Ronstadt Revue at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Friday, March 29 | FREE – Kicking off the new season of the century-old Miller Outdoor Theatre is a dazzling night of Linda Ronstadt’s iconic hits, from “You’re No Good” and “Perfidia” to “Desperado” and many more, as performed by Gesenia. 8pm.
  • Uncle Lucius at the Heights Theater | Friday, March 29 – The platinum-selling group is back after a five-year hiatus, proving the Austin-based Americana group have many more miles left in the tank, with a new album to boot. $27 and up. 8pm.
  • Bone Thugs-N-Harmony at Home Run Dugout | Saturday, March 30 – The iconic rap group is closing out March and getting ready for the “1st of da Month” when they bring their signature hits to the Home Run Dugout in Katy. $40. 8pm.
  • Amaarae at White Oak Music Hall | Saturday, March 30 – The rapidly rising star in the alt-pop scene, Amaarae brings 2023’s Fountain Baby to life on the Northside. $30. 7pm.
  • Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at Arena Theatre | Saturday, March 30 – The treasured vintage band is set to deliver their best of the best in this small stage setting for their All the Good Times Farewell Tour. $39.50 and up. 8:30pm.
