Eat up at Haute Wheels Food Truck Fest

Engage your senses at Haute Wheels Food Truck Festival returns Friday, October 11 to Sunday, October 13, 2013 with three distinct days of entertainment surrounding the wares 35 gourmet food trucks from around Houston and beyond.

In addition to those 35 food trucks, the weekend event will have a beer and wine garden, live music and a vendor village.

Friday Night “Truck or Treat”

This year, in addition to the two weekend days, the festival is debuting Truck or Treat, a special Friday night event to kick off the festival. Restricted to adults 21 and over, this Halloween-inspired event will feature an outdoor showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on a 40-foot movie screen, thriller music and a costume contest.

Food Trucks

There will be 35 food trucks on hand, with 30 old festival favorites returning: Angie’s Cake, Bare Bowls, Bernie’s Burger Bus,Coreanos, Custom Confections, Chi’lantro BBQ, Chocolat d’arte, Fork in the Road, Frosted Betty, Firehouse Tacos, Fraiche, Golden Grill, Good Dog Hot Dogs, Happy Endings, H-town StrEats, It’s a Wrap, LadyBird, The Lunch Bag, Kurbside Eatz, Monster PBJ, MuSubi Houston, Pi Pizza, Pocket to Me, Porch Swing Desserts, Soul Cat Cuisine, St. John’s Fire, The Waffle Bus, Tila’s, Third Coast Sandwiches, and Zeapod Cakery. This year, five newcomers are joinging the Haute Wheels festival: Flippin Patties, Koagie Hots, Muiishi Makirritos, Nom Mi and Speer’s Rolling Bistro.

Live Music on Saturday and Sunday

On Saturday and Sunday, all ages are welcome and live music serves as the primary entertainment.

Haute Wheels Houston Food Truck Festival
