• Sugar Land Junior Superstar 2023 Auditions at Sugar Land Town Square | Wednesday, May 17 | FREE – Sugar Land’s Junior American Idol-like competition kicks off another summer by showcasing local talent with open auditions. Contestants must be between the ages of 9 and 13, and full-time residents of Fort Bend County to be eligible. Registrations required for auditions. 4pm to 7pm.
• Children’s Bingo at Levy Park | Thursday, May 18 | FREE – Yell “Bingo!” at a kid’s version of the beloved game. This 30-minute program, ideal for ages 4 to 12, is a fun way for children to practice their letters and numbers while earning prizes. Levy Park provides the Bingo cards, markers, and prizes. 4:30pm.
• 50th Annual Pasadena Strawberry Festival at Pasadena Fairgrounds | Thursday, May 18 to Sunday, May 21 – The annual strawberry fest celebrates its 50th anniversary in Pasadena, featuring a weekend of barbecue, carnival rides, a car show, mutton bustin’, a kids zone, and more. • Dinos Alive at Marq’e Entertainment Center | Ongoing – Step back in time and get a sense of the sheer scale of the largest beasts to walk the earth at the Dinos Alive Immersive Experience, now in Spring Branch through late June.
