The Great Southwest Lindyfest dance festival and the Houston Swing Dance Society presents a special Beginner Track dance class for people with little to no experience with Lindy Hop.

Students will get a crash course in swing dance and Lindy Hop, watch fun contests, and dance to a top-notch band and DJs.

Classes will be taught by local Houston dance instructors Robin Carlson and Jerry Foote, with the opportunity for some one-on-one instruction.

Classes begin on Saturday and continue on Sunday, but anyone only able to attend Saturday should reach out to the organizers directly to schedule.

Class registration includes the evening social dances from 9pm to midnight on both Saturday and Sunday.
