Galveston Historical Foundation hosts the Strand Summer Series, featuring free monthly movies at Hendley Green and free monthly concerts at Saengerfest Park.

For July, the Strand Summer Series presents a free concert by Two Tons of Steel, an American rockabilly and Texas country band that hails from San Antonio.

Movie Nights at Hendley Green

Movie nights start at dusk in Hendley Green. Movies are free to watch, with on-site beer and wine and select vendors on hand. The event end time will vary based on the start time and length of the film.

Music Nights at Saengerfest Park

Concerts start at 6:30pm in Saengerfest Park. Movies are free to watch, with on-site beer and wine, select vendors on hand, and a reserved VIP area with reserved seating, complimentary drinks, meet and greets, and more.
