Stages kicks off their 2025-26 season with a new production of The Lehman Trilogy—winner of 5 Tony Awards including best play—at The Gordy theater in Montrose.

Receiving rave reviews, the show was extended another week, now closing on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

The play explores the epic, 160-year story of 3 immigrant brothers who built a family business into the Lehman financial empire, and how it all came crashing down in 2008.

Cited as “An American Dream and an American Nightmare” by The New Yorker, the show has been celebrated as both a sweeping family drama and a lens on American capitalism.

And with just 3 actors playing more than 70 characters, audiences will witness generations of family, ambition, and history unfold on stage.
