Lost Pines Art Center celebrates World Migratory Bird Day and Bastrop’s Bird City designation with Painted Wings BirdFest, a free weekend of activities in downtown Bastrop.

Things kick off on Main Street on Friday evening, followed by a full day of demonstrations, natures talks, a walking tour and more on Saturday.

Saturday ends with Art After Dark with the Free As a Bird group show, live music by Kim Snider, and a “Birds in Art” talk by Patricia Raine.

While in downtown Bastrop, guests can also explore the charming streets, shops, restaurants and more.
