The Best Little Drive-In in HTX presents a screening of the movie, Yesterday (2019), at Raven Tower.
After a freak bus accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never existed. Performing songs by the greatest band in history to a world that has never heard them, Jack becomes on overnight sensation with a little help from his friends.
The weekly and socially-distanced drive-in movie experience, located at Raven Tower, continues its series of movies inspired by legendary musicians and music culture.
Spaces are available for 36 vehicles per screening. Raven Tower will serve popcorn, candy, and alcoholic beverages—plus food from Wokker food truck—directly to your car.
There are two screenings of the film, at 7pm and 9:45pm.
Attendees should arrive 30 minutes prior to the movie start time. New titles will be presented every weekend.
In Lowestoft U.K., Jack Malik is a frustrated musician whose musical career is going nowhere, despite the faith that his friend and manager Ellie Appleton has in him. However, on the night Jack decides to give up, the whole world is momentarily hit with a massive blackout during which Jack is hit by a bus.
Upon regaining consciousness, he learns to his astonishment that he is apparently now the only one who knows the music of the Beatles. Realizing this improbable opportunity, Jack begins playing the music of one of the world’s greatest rock bands, claiming it as his own.
Social Distancing & COVID-19 Precautions
Attendees will remain in their cars throughout the presentation, with a special program set-up for using the restrooms. Face masks are required at all times when outside of vehicles.
