Current Temporary Museum Exhibits & Art Installations Around Houston
Thursday, July 23, 2020
An event every day that begins at 2:00 am, repeating until Friday, July 31, 2020
Greater Houston boasts some of the finest, and some of the quirkiest, museums and art installations in the nation. And many of them play host to curated and traveling showcases of art, history, science, and ingenuity—including many kid-friendly options.
Ticketed Exhibits & Installations
Museums and destinations are listed in order of prominence, and separated into ticketed exhibits.
Ticketed exhibits are the norm at several of Houston’s flagship museums, including The Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH), Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS), The Health Museum, Holocaust Museum Houston, the National Museum of Funeral History, Lone Star Flight Museum, and more.
Free Exhibits & Installations
Many locations that host temporary exhibits and installations don’t charge an entrance tee at all. These include the Menil Collection, Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston (CAMH), Moody Center for the Arts, and more.
Social Distancing & COVID-19 Precautions
Businesses around Greater Houston and the State of Texas are opening up and individual social distancing practices vary from location to location. Masks are still strongly encouraged and recommended to help reduce the spread of the virus and help protect your neighbors.
