Buffalo Bayou Park’s Virtual Discussion: The Art of Carmen Herrera in Houston

Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) presents a virtual discussion about the works of Carmen Herrera, a 105-year old Cuban-born artist, currently on display in Houston—Estructuras Monumentales in Buffalo Bayou Park and Structuring Surfaces on view at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH).

Participating Panelists

  • Rachel Mohl, assistant curator of Latin American and Latino Art at MFAH
  • Daniel S. Palmer, curator at Public Art Fund
  • Dena M. Woodall, Ph.D., curator of prints and drawings at MFAH
The panel will be moderated by Judy Nyquist, BBP board member and co-chair of BBP’s public art and programming committee.
