Asia Society Texas Center presents Coping with the Stress of COVID-19 Webcast

Thursday, May 14, 2020 | 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Free

Asia Society Texas Center presents a conversation behind the social (and socially distant) stresses that many people may be experiencing due to COVID-19 in a live broadcast on YouTube.

As working from home and social distancing become the norm, mental health professionals note that feelings of isolation and loneliness may grow. The anxiety and fear response around coronavirus can also trigger obsessive compulsive behaviors, traumatic stress, and feelings of helplessness. While some may be better equipped to manage stress, we all process stressors differently and can benefit from tips on how to protect our mental health.

This program is online-only and will be simulcast to YouTube Live and Facebook Live. The webcast will begin 7:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, May 14, 2020.
