Apollo Chamber Players present With Malice Toward None at the Bayou Theater at the University of Houston – Clear Lake

Wednesday, September 15, 2021 | 7:30 pm

Apollo Chamber Players opens its season marking the 20th anniversary of 9/11 with the live world premiere of With Malice Toward None, by Vietnam veteran composer J. Kimo Williams, at the Bayou Theater on the University of Houston – Clear Lake campus.

Juxtaposing the Enlightenment philosophies of Ludwig van Beethoven and President Lincoln, this new work weaves storytelling and social contradictions with calls to action and good old-fashioned rock ’n’ roll. World-renowned electric violinist Tracy Silverman joins Apollo for a program aspiring to heal and to “bend the arc of the moral universe towards justice for all”.

There will be an earlier performance of this show on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at MATCH in Midtown.
