Houston Shakespeare Festival, the city’s annual summer theater tradition, celebrates its 52nd season with performances of both The Tempest and The Comedy of Errors on alternating nights at Miller Outdoor Theatre.

Shakespeare’s riotous farce of mistaken identity, The Comedy of Errors, brings double trouble to the bustling port city of Ephesus when two sets of twins—separated at birth—unexpectedly cross paths, unleashing a whirlwind of mayhem and mirth.

In this fast-paced comedy bursting with physical humor, outrageous confusion, and joyful surprise, husbands are mistaken for strangers, servants are denied their own names, and no one can tell friend from foe. As misunderstandings multiply and tempers flare, the laughter never lets up.
