Small Places: Finca Tres Robles hosts the third edition of their free annual salsa festival, Salsa de Mayo, in the East End.

In addition to sampling the sweet tastes from the start of Houston’s fresh tomato season in a salsa competition, the event will feature food, music, games, artists, and vendors for all ages.

Salsa tasting from 10:30am to 1pm.

There will also be a ticketed Spring Harvest Dinner the evening before the event, on Friday, May 9. The fundraiser will feature Chef Christian Hernandez of Barbacana, whose menu will incorporate the seasonal bounty of the farm and highlight flavors of the East End.
