34th Annual Law Week 8K Fun Run at Sam Houston Park in Downtown

The Houston Bar Association and Harris County Constable Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen present the 34th annual John J. Eikenburg Law Week 8K Fun Run in Downtown.
The run benefits The Center Houston, a local United Way agency dedicated to offering people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to reach their full potential and to contribute to their community.
Starting at Sam Houston Park and following a course along the Buffalo Bayou, the event features a competitive 8K run, a 1-mile walk, and a 1K non-competitive Kids’ Run, and Adopt-a-Walker.

- 8K Wheelchair Division 7:50am
- 8K Run 8am*
- 1-Mile Family Walk 8:30am
Immediately following the race events, participants can enjoy the post-race party with door prizes, cash prizes, awards, and the President’s Trophy. There will be live music by Grand Old Grizzly, food, drinks, and more.
*The 8K course is certified and the 8K race is sanctioned by USATF. The 8K Run is an official Spring Series Race of the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA)
Entry fees start at $18 for the 1-mile walk; $35 for the 8K, and $250 for group entries.
Participants in the event will receive a race day bag that includes event goodies and a tshirt. Packet pick-up from 6:30am to 7:30am on the morning of the event. Click here to register or for more information.
