Rec Room Arts in Downtown stages a production of the smash Broadway musical Spring Awakening.

Spring Awakening is a story of adolescent anarchy, of teenagers silenced and controlled by a censoring society, and the devastating consequences of the freedom students find outside of the classroom.

The Tony-winning musical will have an intimate, powerful restaging at Rec Room. The much-loved rock score will be brought to life with live musicians in Houston’s smallest theater.
