- Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at NRG Park | Daily – Dust off your boots and head to NRG for the Rodeo, complete with carnival rides, rodeo competitions, and fried food, as well as nightly concerts from acts like Luke Bryan, Chris Young, Cody Johnson, and Calibre 50. Tickets start at $18, but you may find tickets on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. Thursday and Friday 6:45pm; Saturday and Sunday 3:45pm.
- Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo at Toyota Center | Daily – Enter a dream world of playful music, spellbinding acrobatics, dazzling costumes, and Cirque du Soleil’s trademark surrealism in Corteo at Toyota Center. - 40th Anniversary Celebration at Treebeards (Market Square) | Daily – Feast on traditional Southern foods at a discounted price in honor of Treebeards’ 40th-anniversary celebration. The cafeteria-style eatery’s Market Square location will offer its original menu with its original prices from 1978 throughout the first two weeks of March.
- Men on Boats at Main Street Theater | Daily – Take your seat for a performance of Men on Boats, a story about 10 explorers traveling the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon on 4 boats, playing at Main Street Theater. Tickets start at $39. Thursday to Saturday 7:30pm; Sunday 3pm.
- Sherlock Holmes and the Spinsters of Blackmead at Theatre Suburbia | Friday and Saturday – Watch a mystery unfold as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson attempt to solve a slew of murders in Suburbia Theatre’s performance of Sherlock Holmes and the Spinsters of Blackmead. - It’s Britney, B*tch: A Tribute to Britney Spears at Art Factory | Friday to Sunday – Pay homage to the ‘90s pop princess with an explosive performance of her greatest hits at Art Factory. Expect show-stopping choreography, talented local artists, and of course, an array of Britney’s iconic, midriff-exposing costumes. Tickets are $20 but you may find limited discounted tickets for $10. - Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center | Saturday and Sunday – Peep the latest products and trends in the world of home decor and gardening at the 16th annual Home and Garden Show in the Woodlands. Network with fellow home and garden enthusiasts and hear from industry experts throughout the event at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. Tickets start at $10. Saturday 9am to 6pm; Sunday 10am to 6pm.
- Spring Break Daily Flight Plan at Lone Star Flight Museum | Saturday and Sunday – Bring the kids to this week-long interactive event, featuring daily demonstrations and activities at Lone Star Flight Museum. Kids can meet real-life pilots, view drone-racing demonstrations, take the wheel in a flight simulator, and more. Tickets start at $16. Saturday 11am to 2pm; Sunday noon to 3pm.
- International Watermedia Exhibit 2018 at Watercolor Art Society | Saturday and Sunday | FREE – Experience stunning paintings from 100 artists as the Watercolor Art Society Houston presents their 41st Annual International Watermedia Exhibit in the Museum District. Featuring many watermedia artists from all around the world, art collectors and enthusiasts alike can enjoy this month-long fine arts exhibit. Gallery hours are Saturdays from 3pm to 6pm and Sundays from 2pm to 4:30pm.

- St. Patrick’s Parade Weekly Happy Hour at Platypus Brewing | No Cover – Clink pints of beer and yell “Slainte” while watching Irish dancers with live music at Platypus Brewing. Proceeds go toward the annual St. Patrick’s Parade. 5pm.
- Tai Chi by the Reflecting Pool at the Rothko Chapel – Join instructor Henderson Smith for a 1-hour Tai Chi class, held on the Rothko Chapel grounds near the reflecting pool. Suggested donation of $15. 5pm to 6pm.
- Women in Bio Texas: Launch Event & Mixer at TMC Innovation Institute – Celebrate International Women’s Day as Women In Bio hosts the launch of WIB-Texas at TMC Innovation Institute. - Thursday Night Take Over at Fluff Bake Bar – Join Fluff Bake Bar owner Rebecca Masson as she welcomes fellow chef Christine Rivera of Galaxy Taco, San Diego, for this week’s Thursday Night Take Over. Each chef will prepare a menu of three to four items available a la carte, with 10 percent of all proceeds benefiting Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry program. 6pm.
- Hotel Galvez Ghost Tour and Dinner – Get spooked during the tour as the hotel’s concierge guides participants through the ghostly past of the hotel followed by dinner in the Galvez Bar & Grill. Tickets are $60 per person. 6pm.
- International Women’s Day Observance at The Rothko Chapel – The theme for the 2018 International Women’s Day at The Rothko Chapel is “Press for Progress”. - 2018 French Cultures Festival Kick-Off Concert at Discovery Green | FREE – Kick off the French Cultures Festival with a free concert of local and international musicians presented by the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Houston.
