Check out more than 150 cars during the 8th Annual Halloween Car Show at the National Museum of Funeral History on Halloween Day, Saturday, October 31, 2015.

UPDATE 10/22/15: Given expected inclement weather, the Halloween Car Show was rescheduled from its original date of Saturday, October 24 and moved to Halloween Day, Saturday, October 31, 2015. The National Museum of Funeral History, along with its family friendly Haunted House and Myths and Legends of the Graveyard exhibit will still be open and welcoming guest during normal hours on Saturday, October 24, 2015 and Sunday, October 25, 2015.

Now in its eighth year, the Halloween Car Show is a gathering of over 150 cars, ranging from classic to contemporary. The collection spans the last century, with both horse drawn vehicles and motorized carriages, many decked out in spooky décor for a day of Halloween fun.

Visitors can explore the show, snappy spooky or tongue-in-cheeky selfies in front of the automobiles, while basking in a great fall festival atmosphere. A variety of cars will be featured, including a few hearses, making for a very lively event, featuring tasty barbecue, sweet cupcakes, a live DJ and silent auction. Kiddos also get into the spirit with face painting and arts and crafts. Decorated cars will be judged by Blast from the Past Street Machines of Texas from 10 am to 2 pm and awards will be announced at 3 pm.

Proceeds from the Halloween Car Show benefit Star of Hope, Morning Glory Ranch, The Shriner’s Burn Hospital, Houston Food Bank and The USO.
