  • WWE Raw at Toyota Center | Monday, July 31 – Catch a high-flying rumble in the concrete jungle when wrestling superstars like World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freaking” Rollings, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch and more descend on H-Town. $35 and up. 6:30pm.
  • Houston Astros vs. Cleveland Guardians at Minute Maid Park | Monday, July 31 to Wednesday, August 2 – This American League battle kicks off the weekend with three games, including a Wednesday matinee. Stick around after that game and catch The Lion King playing on El Grande as you sprawl on blankets in the outfield. Game tickets are $23 and up; $50 for the movie day package on Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday 7pm; Wednesday 1pm.
  • Sugar Land Space Cowboys vs. Tacoma Rainiers at Constellation Field | Tuesday, August 1 to Sunday, August 6 – Tacoma spends a week in Sugar Land, with plenty of fan giveaways throughout the weekend. The first 3,000 fans on Friday will take home an Alex Bregman World Series ring, lucky fans on Saturday will snag a Space Cowboys western jersey, and Sunday features a Space Cowboys belt buckle up for grabs. $9 and up. Times vary.
  • Houston Texans Training Camp at NRG Park | Friday, August 4 & Saturday, August 5 | FREE – Fans can flock to NRG for back-to-back days of practices open to the public. Friday morning features a special military and first responders appreciation event, and Saturday pushes practice into the evening hours for the only night practice of training camp. Free with advance ticket. Friday 9am; Saturday 6pm.
  • 2023 Watermelon Dash at Karbach Brewing Company | Saturday, August 5 – Take part in the 4th annual Watermelon Dash, the third and final Summer Dash Series race, designed to help keep you and the family fit and refreshed in the summer. In addition to 5K and 10K runners, Kids K and Family Walk participants will also receive a t-shirt and finisher’s medal. Stick around for the post-race fun with food and drink, music and more entertainment. $25 for the Kids K; $50 and up for other lengths. 7:30am.
  • GCVA Beach Volleyball Tournament at Galveston’s East Beach | Sunday, August 6 | FREE – The final summer day of the GCVA tournament sees squads from a wide range of skill levels and ages competing on the sandy shores of East Beach. Free to watch; registration required to compete. 9am to 5pm.
