Just west of the 610 loop, the luxurious neighborhoods of Galleria and Uptown are known as the shopping mecca of Houston.

Hit the taps to enjoy the 50+ craft beer list under the shaded terrace at Post Oak Ice House, a laidback hangout off Chimney Rock and Richmond; or score some serious patio action over at Muldoon’s Patio.
Post Oak Irish pub Ducky McShweeney’s is always a good time, sporting all-day hours, draft beers and pub fare, and a shamrockin’ Sunday brunch.
Sports fans will find exactly what they’re looking for at Jake’s Sports Bar, the quintessential neighborhood sports pub rocking flatscreens, wings and nachos, tons of beer, and a full bar.
Pair ranch waters with live music
Spend your funday at live music bar and kitchen The Rustic in Uptown Park and you can pair your ranch waters with country jams.
The kitchen rocks a family-style Toast & Jam brunch on Sundays, with brunchy bites from country baked eggs and cheesy potato hash to Texas hot chicken and baby challah french toasts.

The ultra-exclusive Hidden Omakase is the most intimate of the bunch, offering an 18-seat chef’s counter curated by the uber-talented chef Niki Vongthong.
A choice spot for a chill hangout or a date night, Sushi on Post Oak’s popular dishes include a Volcano roll, lit on fire and delivered to your table flaming. Get it alongside Japanese whiskies and cocktails.
Japanese bar and lounge Nobu is a global sushi stunner, with a daily lounge happy hour and Nobu’s famous dishes like the Black Cod with Miso, Rock shrimp Tempura, and Hamachi with Jalapeño; and the Austin-born Uchiko brings a non-traditional, but totally epic Japanese experience to the local palate.
Hit the hookah or the dance floor
