• 19th Annual Wine & Food Week in the Woodlands | Daily – This year’s Wine & Food Week celebrates the creativity found in the heart of the wine and food industry. Attendees can expect hundreds of wines, chefs from across Houston and beyond, and an emphasis on the arts with experiential art installations, plus meet and greets with award-winning and emerging artists. Events include a Flavors of Australia Wine Dinner & Kickoff (Monday, June 5), Rose’ Way, A Sweet Soiree (Thursday, June 8), the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase (Saturday, June 10), and more. Prices and times vary.
• 2023 Culture Camp for Kids at Asia Society Texas Center | Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 9 – This week-long camp in the Museum District enlists the help of Indus Arts Council to explore the art, history and language painted and carved upon “jingle trucks” that move through the streets of Pakistan everyday. Kids will paint their own art in the truck art style while learning Urdu vocabulary for the forms and colors. Recommended for ages 9 to 12. $375. 9am to 3pm.
• The Stonewall Inn Takeover at Trash Panda Drinking Club | Tuesday, June 6 | No Cover – For one night only, Trash Panda in Northside turns into the iconic LGBTQ+ landmark and bar, Stonewall Inn. Stonewall bartenders Mel Albaladejo and Mike Salanari will join from New York City, serving their signature Stonewall drinks. There will also be music from DJ Chauncey D, a visit from the newly crowned Ms. Stonewall 2023, and a New York–themed menu. 8pm to midnight.
• Prince Day Houston at Velvet Room | Wednesday, June 7 – Celebrate 65 years in which the legend most commonly known as Prince has existed in our hearts and minds by getting down at Velvet Room in honor of him and the mystical number 7. $30 and up. 6pm to 1am.
• Boygenius in Concert at White Oak Music Hall | Thursday, June 8 – Titans of indie rock Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker bring their indie supergroup to the White Oak lawn, on the heels of their freshly released debut album, The Record. Resale tickets only. 6pm.
• ROCO Resound: Savor at Soren’s | Thursday, June 8 – The Dunlavy restaurant in Montrose offers a selection of wines and tasty bites by Chef Soren Pedersen, as well as the opportunity to explore commissions and composers of ROCO’s 19th season through pairings of musical and gastronomical flavors. $100. 7pm.
• Houston Sabercats vs Old Glory DC at Aveva Stadium | Friday, June 9 – Snag a seat in South Houston and show some love to the Sabercats in an action-packed home finale to the regular season. $15 and up. 6pm.
• Duran Duran in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Friday, June 9 – One of the O.G. English new wave bands, Duran Duran is gracing the stage in the Woodlands with a setlist bursting with all the best hits. $29.95 and up. 7pm.

• ISHIDA Dance Company presents having been breathed out at Asia Society Texas | Friday, June 9 to Sunday, June 11 – This concert features the world premiere of ISHIDA’s American Gothic, which explores the internal and external dynamics of the nuclear family. It also brings two rarely seen works stateside, Horizons by Greek choreographer Adonis Foniadakis and the critically-acclaimed Mutual Comfort by Edward Clug of Romania. $40 and up. Friday & Saturday 8pm; Sunday 3pm.
• Children’s Day Celebration at Czech Center Museum Houston | Saturday, June 10 – The whole family is invited to the Czech Center’s Children’s Day Celebration, featuring a day of activities like yoga sessions for kids, a pizza lunch, Czech language Bingo, a kolache eating contest, scavenger hunt and more. Adults are $10; $7 for ages 12 to 15; $5 for ages 11 and under; free for ages under 1. 10:30am to 2:30pm.
• Vibe Artisan Market at Post Houston | Saturday, June 10 | FREE – Head over to Post Houston’s X Atrium for over 120 local artists, creatives, and makers, a live DJ, complimentary cocktails, over 20 concept restaurants, and more. 11am to 5pm.
• Juneteenth Family Fun Day at Emancipation Park | Saturday, June 10 | FREE – This inaugural celebration brings together several Black communities of Houston for a joyous celebration of culture, the pioneers of Juneteenth and community jubilee. • Power Fest 2023 at the Water Works | Sunday, June 11 – From the organizers of Houston LatinFest comes this celebration of Latin music and culture on the grounds of Buffalo Bayou Park, with views of the towering skyscrapers of Downtown.
