- Houston Bike Summit 2023 at Multiple Locations | Monday to Wednesday – This three-day event celebrates the mighty two-wheeled bicycle and the city that is expanding networks for bike riders all over. Axelrad in Third Ward hosts a screening of the documentary The Street Project about how to make our streets safer; Bike Law attorney Charlie Thomas shares jaw-dropping stories and answers your questions about bikes and the law at MATCH; and Saint Arnold Brewing hosts a soirée on Wednesday, toasting to Mayor Sylvester Turner and hosting an auction with food, drink and community. Events range from suggested donations to $150 for the soirée. Times vary.
- Forever Motown at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday to Saturday | FREE – A signature performance during Miller Outdoor Theatre’s centennial year, this concert brings the lead singers of iconic groups like the Four Tops, the Temptations and the Marvelettes for an all-star performance of legendary Motown tunes over three straight nights. 8pm.
- Otaku’s Camouflage Food Festival at No Label Brewing Co. | Saturday & Sunday | FREE – The Katy brewery hosts this two-day family food and anime event that features more than 30 food, drink and anime vendors, plus voice actors, sumo wrestling, cosplay contests, live music and more. Times vary.

- Hunger Games Face-Off Trivia Night at Wakefield Crowbar | No Cover – The Garden Oaks hotspot hosts a night of trivia covering The Hunger Games saga, where the top three teams will then compete in a sudden death round for prizes. 6:30pm.

- Love & Wondervision Opening Reception at Moody Center for the Arts | FREE – Artist JooYoung Choi will be on hand for the opening of this summer exhibition at the Rice University gallery, marking her first institutional solo show that explores issues of identity and reflecting her research into media representation. 6pm to 8pm.
- Disco Prom at M-K-T | FREE with RSVP – Teaming up with fashion designer Chloe Dao, the shopping and dining destination in the Heights throws it back with a fashion-forward disco prom featuring entertainment, prizes, dancing and more. - Garrett T. Capps in Concert at Discovery Green | FREE – Hailed as San Antonio’s resident “cosmic country gonzo honky tonk weirdo freak,” Garrett T. Capps and his band, NASA Country, headline the Thursday Night Concert in Downtown. Austin-based Ms. Mack & the Daddies join in support. 7pm to 9pm.
- Teeling Single Barrel Release and Tasting at Reserve 101 – Taste through a flight of Teeling Irish Whiskey at this private sampling event led by Teeling’s Whiskey Ambassador, Hal Brock. $45. 7pm to 10pm.
- Comedian David Lucas at Houston Improv – A regular on the Kill Tony podcast and a roast master that got his career started on MTV’s Yo Momma, David Lucas lands at the Improv for a one night-only show. $40 for 2, and up. 7:30pm.
- Red Hot Chili Peppers, with the Strokes & Thundercat in Concert at Minute Maid Park – Celebrating their lucky thirteenth record, Return of the Dream Canteen, the record-breaking titans of rock, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are bringing the Strokes and Thundercat on a ride through Houston when they play the Juicebox. $34 and up. 8pm.

- Punk Rock Garage Sale at Bad Astronaut Brewing | No Cover – The Northside brewery hosts this month’s edition of the Punk Rock Garage Sale, where you can shop vintage wares and fill up on classic music, art, old school toys, comics, music and other goodies from more than 30 vendors. 1pm to 5pm.
- All-You-Can-Eat Seafood Extravaganza at The Phoenix on Westheimer – This Memorial Weekend bash at the Phoenix offers to fill you up with crawfish or seafood platters of shrimp, blue crab and mudbugs with all the fixins. $30 per person, and up. 1pm to 6pm.

- Jazzy Sundays: David Michael Wyatt & Micah Edwards at the Water Works | FREE – After three months of concerts at parks across Houston, the second-to-last Jazzy Sundays performance takes place on the lawn at the Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park. The velvet voice of David Michael Wyatt and Texas soul sounds of Micah Edwards bring it home. 5pm to 7pm.
