This month sees a slate of signature events come to Houston, including the Final Four and Clay Court Championships, as well as the season-enders for the Rockets and Roughnecks.

- Men’s Final Four Semifinals Games 1 & 2 at NRG Stadium | Saturday, April 1 – The first of two game days arrives at NRG Stadium, offering ticketholders a chance to catch both Final Four Semifinals ahead of Monday’s Championship game. Florida Atlantic takes on San Diego State, followed by the University of Miami and UConn. Advance tickets are sold out; tickets as part of a hospitality package are $495.25 and up. Limited tickets will be made available for fans of competing teams when Semifinals are set. Resale tickets start at $225, but you may find better, cheaper or hard-to-get seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. First tip-off at 5pm; second game at 7:45pm.
- US Men’s Clay Court Championships at River Oaks Country Club | Saturday, April 1 to Sunday, April 9 – Head to River Oaks to see featured tennis stars like John Isner, Frances Tiafoe and more playing through the famed week-long tournament. Qualifying rounds are free to attend; most tickets are sold out for later rounds. Standing room only tickets start at $110, but you may find cheaper or hard-to-get seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. Times vary.
- Houston Rockets vs Los Angeles Lakers at Toyota Center | Sunday, April 2 – Clutch City looks to represent as the end of the regular season nears and the Lakers return to town, with possible appearances by Anthony Davis and LeBron James. $39 and up. 6pm.
- Men’s Final Four Championship Game at NRG Stadium | Monday, April 3 – March Madness comes to a close in Houston as the two surviving teams face off at center court with the NCAA Championship on the line. Advance tickets are sold out; tickets as part of a hospitality package are $355 and up. Limited tickets will be made available for fans of competing teams when Finals are set. Resale tickets start at $194, but you may find better, cheaper or hard-to-get seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. Game time TBA.
- Sugar Land Space Cowboys vs. Round Rock Express at Constellation Field | Tuesday, April 4 to Sunday, April 9 – The Triple-A Affiliate Space Cowboys are back and will be taking on Round Rock for six straight nights, with special fan giveaways including an Astros Jeremy Peña World Series ring on Friday and a Space Cowboys Lance McCullers road jersey on Saturday. $9 and up. Times vary.
- Houston Sabercats vs. Utah Warriors at Aveva Stadium | Saturday, April 8 – The Sabercats are ready to pounce when the Warriors come to visit in South Houston. $15 and up. 7pm.
- Champagne Charles Heidsieck Cup at Houston Polo Club | Sunday, April 9 – It’s an extra special Easter as the spring polo season kicks off at Houston Polo Club with an Easter egg candy toss for kids, a player parade, live music, expert announcing, and more. $35; $15.50 for ages 12 and under. Boxes for 2 to 20 guests range from $89 to $895. 5pm.
- Houston Dash vs. Mexico Women’s National Team at Shell Energy Stadium | Tuesday, April 11 – The Houston Dash face off against the women’s national team of Mexico in a friendly, cross-border competition on the Dash’s home pitch. $15 and up. 7pm.
- 30th Annual Tour de Braz Bike Ride in Alvin | Saturday, April 15 – Alvin Community College is the starting point for a beautiful ride through the Brazoria area countryside along 34-, 50-, 65-, and 100-mile routes with a post-race beer garden, music, and free food after. Registration starts at $40 per person. 7am to 5pm.
- Hatchling Hustle 5K at Babe’s Beach | Saturday, April 15 – Turtle Island Restoration Network is putting on their first inaugural 5K and 1-mile fun run in Galveston to benefit the network and raise awareness for sea turtle nesting season. Registration is $40 for the 5K ($30 for ages 17 and under); $25 for the 1-mile fun run ($20 for ages 17 and under). 7:30am to 11am.
- Houston Roughnecks vs. Vegas Vipers at TDECU Stadium | Saturday, April 15 – After a strong showing to the season, the Roughnecks play their final home game ahead of the playoffs. $10 and up. 11:30am.
- Houston Dash vs. Kansas City Current at Shell Energy Stadium | Wednesday, April 19 – The Dash take to the pitch on a weeknight to face off against Kansas City in the first matchday of the NWSL Challenge Cup group stage. $7 and up. 6:30pm.
- Houston Dynamo FC vs. Inter Miami CF at Shell Energy Stadium | Saturday, April 22 – One of the league’s superstars, former MVP Josef Martínez leads Miami to East Downtown for a showdown on the pitch. $28 and up. 7:30pm.
- Houston Texans Draft Party at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday, April 27 | FREE – Head to Hermann Park for the official NFL draft party to see who the Texans bring home with picks 2 and 12 of the first round. The night will also include a fan fest, special appearances by Texans players, draft merch, food trucks and concessions, and more. 7pm.
- Houston Astros vs. Philadelphia Phillies at Minute Maid Park | Friday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30 – It’s a World Series rematch to end the month of April when the Phillies come to town as the ‘Stros offer a Jeremy Peña jersey giveaway, plus World Series bobbleheads and more through the weekend. $33 and up. Times vary.
