  • Labor Day at Lone Star Flight Museum | Labor Day, Monday, September 5 – The all-things-flight museum hosts a day of plane tours, flight simulators, entertainment and free hot dogs, chips and a drink. $10 admission for everyone at the door. 10am to 5pm.
  • School of Rock Movie Screening at First Colony Mall | Thursday, September 8 | FREE – Catch a screening of the 2003 music comedy movie starring Jack Black, School of Rock, at First Colony Mall. 7pm to 9pm.
  • Disney Junior Live on Tour! Costume Palooza at Smart Financial Centre | Friday, September 9 – This all-new show brings together beloved Disney Junior characters like Mickey and Minnie alongside Marvel faves like Spidey and his amazing friends for a jam-packed, concert-style show with singing, dancing, acrobatics and more. $39.50 and up. 6pm.
  • Children’s Storytime at CityPlace | Friday, September 9 | FREE – In Spring, the Catboy and Owlette characters from PJ Masks swing by for a special edition of the monthly story time session. 6pm.
  • Polish Harvest Festival at Our Lady of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church | Friday, September 9 to Sunday, September 11 | FREE – Based on the centuries-old Polish tradition of Dozynki, an end of harvest jubilee celebration, the Polish Harvest Festival combines traditional and modern elements featuring food, drink, and entertainment, plus a Chrildren’s Corner that offers an area full of exciting games, face painting, bounce houses and more. Though free to attend, food and drinks are on you. Times vary.
  • 14th Annual Hummingbird Festival at Kleb Woods Nature Center | Saturday, September 10 | FREE – In Tomball, the nature preserve welcomes back another hummingbird fest where you can witness peak migration and enjoy games, activities and educational programs for the whole family. 9am to 3pm.
  • Mid-Autumn Festival at Children’s Museum Houston | Saturday, September 10 – The Vietnamese Culture and Science Association partners with the Children’s Museum Houston for a Mid-Autumn fest featuring a lion dance, costume and lantern contests, story time, and more. $15 for ages 1 and up. 10am to 6pm.
  • Kids Day at the Park at Carl Barton, Jr. Baseball Park | Saturday, September 10 | FREE – Bring the whole family out to the Conroe baseball complex for a Kids Day festival featuring moonwalks, a rock wall, train and pony rides, a petting zoo and more. 11am to 2pm.
  • Dance & Move with Young Audiences of Houston at Levy Park | Saturday, September 10 | FREE – Learn to combine elements of dance, music and theatre while expressing yourself through creative movement at the Greenway Plaza-area park. 1pm.
  • Parent & Child: Tea Time on the Hogwarts Express at Central Market | Sunday, September 11 – Working as a team, you and kiddos will create some of the most enticing afternoon treats offered on the train to Hogwarts, like Pumpkin Pasties, Hagrid’s Rock Cakes and Honeydukes Chocolate-Peanut Butter Crunch Bon-Bons. Tickets for 1 parent and 2 children remain for $60 per person; ages 7 to 17 only. 11am to 1pm.
