  • Comedian Ian Bagg at Improv Houston | Thursday to Saturday – Best known for his talk show appearances and Comedy Central Presents, the Canadian comedian is notorious for his “no topic spared” sets. Tickets are sold by the table; $60 for 2 and up. Times vary
  • Jerry Fest at Last Concert Cafe | Friday & Saturday – Throwback to the hippie days with Grateful Dead tribute band, Deadeye, across two days that also includes Watermelon Fest at the longtime near-Downtown haunt. $20 in advance; $25 day of. 8pm.
  • Common with Houston Symphony in Concert at Hobby Center | Friday & Saturday – Experience the Grammy Award-winning artist, actor, and philanthropist, Common, as he joins the Houston Symphony for a special twist on some of his biggest hits at Hobby Center. $34. 7:30pm. 
  • The Riot Comedy Show presents Phil Hanley at Rudyard’s British Pub | Friday & Saturday – From late night experiences to comedy festival stages and beyond, the Canadian comedian finds his way to Montrose’s Rudyard’s stage for back-to-back-nights of gut-busting routines. $15 and up. Times vary
  • Night Market at Montrose Marketplace | Friday to Sunday | No Cover – Once the sun starts to dip behind the horizon, browse food truck bites and local vendor goodies at the bustling evening marketplace in the heart of Montrose. 6pm to 11pm each night.

  • Margarita Monday at Wakefield Crowbar | No Cover – Dust away the Monday with $2 soft tacos, $6 loaded nachos, and $5 Hornitos margs at the Garden Oaks/Oak Forest watering hole. 4pm to midnight.
