  • Children’s Storytime Summer Series at Midtown Park | Tuesday, June 21 | FREE – Andy Roo brings the tunes for a live performance and Houston Public Library leads storytime at this monthly summer event in Midtown. 10am to 11:30am.
  • Art in the Park at Evelyn’s Park | Tuesday, June 21 | FREE – Let the kiddo’s inner artist run wild at this weekly art class workshop at Evelyn’s Park in Bellaire. 10am to noon.
  • Make Music Houston at Children’s Museum Houston | Tuesday, June 21 – Celebrate the longest day of the year with Tot*Tunes when they present a delightful medley of children’s popular songs as part of this citywide musical event. $15 for ages 1 and up. Performances at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
  • Undersea Discovery at Houston Zoo | Tuesday, June 21 to Thursday, June 23 – Bring your toddlers to the Houston Zoo for an early morning trek through the new Undersea Discovery exhibit at Houston Zoo. Get up close to unique and different animatronic marine wildlife and discover more about these fascinating ocean animals. Registration required; general admission tickets are flex pricing, starting at $21.95; $17.95 for ages 3 to 12. 8am to 9am. 
  • Fairy Day at the Woodlands Children’s Museum | Thursday, June 23 & Saturday, June 25 – Meet Tinkerbell and snap a pic, craft your own fairy wings and wand, get your face painted, and enjoy a storytime as part of Fairy Day at the Woodlands Children’s museum. $7.50 for ages 1 and up. 10am to 4pm.
  • Rainbow on the Green at Discovery Green | Friday, June 24 | FREE – The Downtown park space presents its annual citywide LGBTQ celebration with entertainment from award-winning local drag queens, Houston’s own powerhouse vocalist Christina Wells, The Kinsey Sicks and more. 7pm to 10pm.
  • Sing 2 Movie Screening at Heritage Park | Friday, June 24 | FREE – The Downtown Conroe park hosts families on the lawn for an outdoor screening of the 2021 animated singalong film, Sing 2. 8pm.
  • Shang-Chi & the Legend of the Ten Rings Movie Screening at Levy Park | Friday, June 24 | FREE – Near Greenway Plaza, the fam can catch an outdoor screening of the 2021 Marvel film at Levy Park. Martial-arts master Shang-Chi must go back to the past he thought he left behind when he gets caught up in the web of the Ten Rings organization. 8:30pm.
  • Mud Day Celebration at Nature Discovery Center | Saturday, June 25 | FREE – Wallow, stomp, paint, build and craft some mud pies in this celebration of International Mud Day at the park space in Bellaire. Old clothes and a beach towel are recommended to bring, and you’ll have a chance to hose off after the fun. 10am to noon.
  • 2nd Annual Summer Seoul Festival at Independence Park | Saturday, June 25 – Back again for the second time, this annual music festival in Pearland celebrates K-Pop and hip-hop culture along with a market featuring food, drink and dessert vendors ,and more family fun. $10. 11am to 10pm.
  • Pop Cats at Silver Street Studios | Saturday, June 25 & Sunday, June 26 – Enjoy two days of cat-themed festivities with kitty playgrounds, merch, photo ops, art, live music, cat adoptions and more. $18. 11am to 5pm. 
  • 2022 Pre-Columbian Rumba at Trader’s Village | Sunday, June 26 – This fifth annual event celebrates pre-Columbian cultures of South America with live music and dancing, prizes, surprises and more in a state fair–atmosphere in Northwest Houston. Free admission, though parking is $5. 10am to 5pm.
