Find and apply for a summer job at one of the Hire Houston Youth job and resource fairs now through Saturday, June 11, 2022.

Mayor Sylvester Turner’s Hire Houston Youth initiative, in partnership with the Greater Houston McDonald’s owner/operators, hosts a series of job and resource fairs through Saturday, June 11, 2022 in an effort to employ thousands of Houston area youth, ages 16 to 24, this summer.

Positions are available from a wide range of employers, including McDonald’s, The City of Houston, and United Airlines, among others.

The in-person events will allow job seekers to speak with representatives from area employers, and applicants who bring a resume, Texas ID and social security card will have the opportunity to interview “on the spot.” These events are open to the public and do not require applicants to pre-register or be pre-screened.

About Hire Houston Youth

The Hire Houston Youth Program is the first city-wide, collective impact postsecondary and workforce effort bringing together dozens of unique, outstanding partners from across Houston. Young people, ages 16 to 24, are offered summer jobs and internships at the City of Houston, and in public, private, and philanthropic sectors.

Hire Houston Youth serves as the facilitator to connect youth to local jobs where they are empowered with an “earn and learn” opportunity in Houston’s dynamic economy.
