  • Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis Holiday Shindig Dinner Show at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck | Thursday & Friday – Hunker down for a four-course dinner while the married Texas singer-songwriter duo takes to the stage for their annual show of holiday tunes. Starts at $118. Showtimes vary.
  • Comedian Gary Owen at Houston Improv | Thursday to Saturday – Popular comedian and actor Gary Owen makes his way to Houston for five stand-up shows over the span of three days. Starts at $90. Times vary.
  • Home for the Holidays Gift Market Humble at Humble Civic Center | Friday & Saturday – Discover holiday gifts and decor, plus one-of-a-kind items from 100 vendors at a two-day, pop-up shopping event in Northeast Houston. 
  • 48th Annual Dickens on the Strand in Galveston | Friday to Sunday – Galveston’s Victorian Holiday Festival returns in a big way this weekend, with parades, parties, dinners, drinks, and some of the best holiday people-watching this side of the pond. $18; $12 for ages 7 to 12; free for 6 and under. Times vary.
  • Stephen Sondheim’s Company at Art Factory | Opens Friday, December 3 – Art Factory performs the late Sondheim’s Tony-winning musical in North Downtown. It follows a man who weighs the pros and cons of staying single, over dinner dates with his friends. $25. Showtimes vary.
  • Time No Longer Live Performance at Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern | Saturday & Sunday – See the cistern come alive at a live performance by musician André Vida, who will be playing a custom-made woodwind instrument he calls a “Cistern-o-phone” as he performs his original score to the Time No Longer installation. $20. Noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm both days.
  • Houston Ultimate Women’s Expo at George R. Brown | Saturday & Sunday – Hear from inspiring speakers like Blac Chyna, Melissa Gilbert, Kim Fields, Toya Johnson, and D’andra Simmons, and explore the goods and services of hundreds of merchants, spa and massage treatments, and all things celebrating your “inner you.” Times vary.
  • 4th Annual Holiday Festival at Levy Park | Saturday & Sunday | FREE –  Explore a family-driven outdoor fest complete with a holiday market, craft station, live musical performances, a dance performance by River Oaks Dance, Chanukah events, exhibitions, and more. Noon to 5pm both days.
  • Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at the Grand 1894 Opera House | Saturday & Sunday – In conjunction with Dickens on the Strand’s grand return, Galveston’s 127-year old theater once again presents two performances of the Dickens classic that inspired the event. $27 to $75. Showtimes vary.
  • Hanukkah Film Festival 2021 Virtual Screenings | Daily | Virtual – Tune in for the final days of the online streaming festiva, featuring exclusive, award-winning new films celebrating the holiday. 
  • Hanukkah Feasting at Kenny & Ziggy’s | Daily – The Houston deli mainstay offers up menu packages feeding 6-8 ($195) or 8-10 ($235) people, plus a la carte options including latkes by the dozen to soups, brisket, kasha varnishkas, fried kreplach, sweet noodle kugel and more. Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance.
