- Memorial Day Remembrance at George Ranch Historical Park – George Ranch Historical Park hosts a Memorial Day Remembrance with a high noon gun salute and wreath laying to recognize fallen soldiers. Other activities will include baking demonstrations, crafts, and a donut eating contest where the winner takes home the Golden Cowboy Boot Trophy. $15 for ages 13 to 64; $10 for ages 4 to 12; $12 for ages 65 and up. 9am to 5pm.
- Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center Drive at CityCentre | FREE – Do your part to help save the lives of fellow Houstonians by donating to Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center at CityCentre. Each donation will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies. 10am to 2pm.
- Art Outdoors: Garden Tours at Rienzi Gardens | FREE – Enjoy a self-paced garden tour of outdoor sculptures and architectural elements at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston’s house museum for European decorative arts. 10am to noon.
- Basement To Attic Tours of the 1892 Bishop’s Palace – Get a unique view of Galveston history with a top-to-bottom look at a historic landmark that includes areas that would be typically off-limits. $30 and tours are limited to eight people. 11am to 12:30pm.
- Lucky Gnocchi Day at Piola – Enjoy an all-you-can-eat gnocchi special when Piola in Midtown and Memorial hosts the pasta-themed special, served in a variety of sauces, inspired by stories about the lucky gnocchi tradition. All-you-can-eat gnocchi is $15.95 per person. 11am to 9pm.

- H-Town Memorial Day Mayhem featuring Lil Durk, Trae Tha Truth, 2 Chainz, and More at Toyota Center – Music returns to center stage at Toyota Center with a stacked hip-hop lineup featuring Lil Durk, 2 Chainz, Trae Tha Truth, Yung Bleu and many more. $79 to $230, but you may find better, cheaper, or hard-to-get tickets using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 8pm.
- The Philadelphia Soul Sound at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE | Virtual Option – Get down to the classic soul sounds of Philly when the hits of The O’Jays, The Spinners, Dionne Warwick, and Teddy Pendergrass come alive to the lush instrumentation of Community Music Center of Houston. Enjoy it in person or via virtual livestream. Seating in the covered area requires free tickets that can be ordered online or at the box office. - Run Houston! at University of Houston-Clear Lake | Virtual Option – Lace up your running shoes for a return to the finishing line as the Run Houston! series gets underway with an in-person 10K, 5K, and Kids K, along with virtual options for those who feel more comfortable running their own course. Registration starts at $50 for 5K and all virtual races; $60 for 10K; $40 for Kids K. Start times are staggered from 7am to 7:30am; runners will have the chance to sign up for their time the week of the race.
- Eat Up Houston by HTX Market in Northside | No Cover – At this bi-weekly, food-forward market, visitors can explore artisan booths and grab bites from some of Houston’s tastiest food vendors, including Muiishi’s, Acai Brasil, Cassava Kitchen, and Bovine & Barley. 11am to 4pm.
- Bark In the Park and Bellaire Open Air Market at Evelyn’s Park | No Cover – Shop from local vendors at a monthly artisan and small business market that you can enjoy with your pup, or bring one home from rescue organizations on site at Evelyn’s Park. Noon to 4pm.
- Tacos for America at Southern Star Brewing Co. – Spend your afternoon enjoying live music, a market of local vendors, kids activities, and multiple taco trucks competing to be the best taco in H-Town at this tasty event in Conroe. $7 for general admission. Noon to 7pm.

- Houston Bike & Brew Circuit at Holler Brewing Co. | No Cover – Visit five local breweries including Eureka, Platypus, New Magnolia, and more on a bike ride where stopping by 4 of the 5 breweries will get you a commemorative pint glass. Food and drinks are on you. Noon.

- DJ Dillon Francis at Clé Houston – Welcome to the stage electronic musician, record producer, and DJ, Dillon Francis, when he stops through Clé Houston in Midtown to spin for their Summer Sessions Pool Party Series. $45. 2pm to 8pm.
- Memorial Weekend MusicFest at Numbers Nightclub – Party it up with Numbers Nightclub in Montrose, when they host a Memorial Day weekend festival featuring performances by ZombieFace, Witness To The Fallen, 2 Minute Warning and more. $10. 5pm.
- Vaqueros Cup at Houston Polo Club – Watch as two teams compete on the pitch during a world class polo match at the Vaqueros Cup, complete with a player parade, expert announcing, live music, and a champagne divot stomp at halftime. $32.50; $15 for ages 12 and under. Grandstand boxes, which include seating for 2 to 20 guests, range from $79 to $695. 5pm.
- Memorial Day at Town Green Park in the Woodlands | FREE – Commemorate the ultimate sacrifice of those who lost their lives while serving the United States at this evening event featuring live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainers, and more at Town Green Park in the Woodlands. A dazzling fireworks extravaganza caps off the night. Food and drink will be available for purchase. 5pm to 9pm.
- The 8th Wonder Comedy Hour at The Secret Group – Throw back a pint or two while laughing yourself silly at the 8th Wonder Comedy Hour, featuring draft beers and stand-up comedy hosted by Josh Stokes at the Secret Group in EaDo. $5 to $8. 6pm to 8pm.
- 8th Annual Memorial Day Sunday Bash at Capitol Bar | No Cover – Party it up on the biggest patio in Midtown this Memorial Day Weekend when Capitol Sundaze presents a fun-filled evening featuring sets from six of Houston’s best DJs, party favors, patriotic hats, hookah, delectable eats like tacos and burgers, VIP bottle service options and more at the 8th annual Memorial Day Sunday Bash. Bottles are $100 before 9pm with a reservation. 7pm to 2am.

- Memorial Day 10K, 5K, and Kids K at Houston Running Co. in Cypress | Virtual Option – The Memorial Day holiday race will send runners down the specialized course at Houston Running Co. at 10K, 5K, and Kids K lengths. Finishers medals and shirts are available for 10K and Kids K participants. Registration (in-person and virtual) is $40 for 5K; $50 for 10K; $20 for Kids K or Family Walk. 7:30am.
- Memorial Day at Houston National Cemetery | FREE – Honor fallen war heroes at the Houston National Cemetery, operated by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. 8am.
- Remembering Our Fallen Memorial Ceremony at Bay Area Veterans Memorial in Seabrook | FREE – In honor of the fallen veterans that made the ultimate sacrifice, the City of Seabrook presents a memorial ceremony at Bay Area Veterans Memorial to remember those who lost their lives and reflect on their service. 9am to 10am.
- Memorial Day Ceremony at Galveston Naval Museum | FREE – Pay tribute to fallen veterans with a ceremony that includes a bagpipes memorial, tolling the boats ceremony, Taps bugler, keynote speech by U.S. Representative Randy Weber, and veteran-guided tours of the USS Cavalla and USS Stewart. Free museum admission and included parking from 9am to noon.
- City of Friendswood Memorial Day Celebration | FREE – The City of Friendswood presents a Memorial Day ceremony that includes patriotic music, a tribute to each branch of the military, a group photograph of Friendswood military veterans and active duty personnel. 10am to 11am.
- Memorial Day Ceremony at Sugar Land Memorial Park | FREE – Observe Memorial Day with patriotic vendors and booths, an official ceremony commencement, and a raising of the flag when the City of Sugar Land hosts their 13th Annual Sugar Land Memorial Day Ceremony at Sugar Land Memorial Park. 10am to noon.
- Memorial Day Observance & Park Dedication at Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park | FREE – Honor those who have served in the U.S. military when Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park in Conroe hosts an observance this Memorial Day Weekend. 11am.
- Memorial Day at the Square at Memorial City | FREE – Memorial City Mall hosts a commemoration that features a patriotic presentation of colors and a flyover by the Commemorative Air Force. Afterward, enjoy live music, face painting, balloon art, and other surprises. 11am to 2pm.
- Memorial Day Fest at Buffalo Soldiers National Museum | FREE – Commemorate fallen soldiers when Buffalo Soldiers National Museum hosts its Memorial Day Fest featuring veteran-owned vendors, kids activities, a BBQ food truck, photos with troopers and more. Noon to 4pm.
- Memorial Day Backyard BBQ at B-52 Brewing | No Cover – Chow down on delicious BBQ with sides and more or participate in a sixteen-team cornhole tournament at B-52 Brewing’s beer garden in Conroe. Noon to 6pm.
