- Comedian Arnez J at Houston Improv | Thursday to Sunday – Fall out of your chair laughing when host of BET’s longest running comedy series, Arnez J, stops through the Houston Improv for six socially-distanced stand-up performances. $90 to $270. Showtimes vary.
- The Ensemble Theatre presents Pretty Fire | Thursday to Sunday | Virtual – Based on playwright Charlayne Woodard’s life, this comedy explores family dynamics and the enduring power of faith across three generations of Black women, from Albany, New York to small-town Georgia. $25.
