  • Braeswood Farmers Market in Southwest Houston | No Cover – In Meyerland, this farmers market offers visitors a chance to buy fresh farmed produce, pasture-raised eggs, organically-fed poultry, locally farmed honey and much more. 9am to 1pm.
  • Freedmen’s Town Farmers Market in Fourth Ward | No Cover – Stop through historic Freedmen’s Town to shop local goods, fresh ingredients, artisan works and more from Black-owned businesses at this farmers market near Downtown. 9am to 2pm.
  • Drawing Salon: Rienzi Gardens at Rienzi Sketch your way through the gardens and outdoor art collection of the Rienzi museum and mansion in River Oaks. Limited supplies are available, so you are encouraged to bring your own sketching materials. $15. 10am to noon.
  • Dynamo Charities Fire Sale at BBVA Stadium | No Cover – Jump at your chance to snag collector’s items, team-issued and team-worn apparel from both Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash, one last time with the old logos before they take the pitch under new branding. Though this event is free to attend, advance registration for booking time slots are required. 10am to 5pm.
  • We Make Carpets’ Ribbon Pavilion: Barn Raising #2 Volunteer Opportunity on the Rice Campus | FREE – Team up with other volunteers to install a temporary outdoor art installation from Dutch collective, We Make Carpets. Registration is required and there are two one-hour time slots. 11am to noon and noon to 1pm.
  • Playin’ for Pups Charity Sand Volleyball Tournament at Wakefield Crowbar Get in the sand and play some volleyball in honor of the doggo in your life at Wakefield Crowbar near Shady Acres. A portion of the proceeds benefits Animal Justice League. Early bird tickets are $100 per team; $25 per person. Full price $120 per team; $30 per person. 11am to 4pm.
  • Crawfish Season at B-52 Brewing | No Cover – Get your mudbugs in the heart of Conroe when 242 Pub & Grill spends all Saturday cooking up mouth-watering crawfish at B-52 Brewing. Noon to 10pm.
  • Horror Market Pop Up (Part III) at Fortress Beerworks in Spring | No Cover – Scare yourself silly browsing an outdoor horror-themed market in Spring where guests can shop goods from local vendors, artwork, handcrafted items, as well as meeting classic figures from the genre including Bob Elmore, known for his “Leatherface” portrayal in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series and more. Noon to 6pm.
  • HTX Last Saturdays Market + Art Show at Urban South Brewery | No Cover – Shop, sip on local suds, and people watch at Urban South HTX Brewery’s indoor and outdoor market featuring local artisans, small makers, and artists. 1pm to 6pm.
  • Houston Dash Open Practice at BBVA Stadium | FREE – Watch the reigning NWSL Challenge Cup champions Houston Dash take to the pitch when they host a free open practice session for fans at BBVA Stadium. Though the event is free, tickets are required and can be downloaded on a first come, first served basis. 3pm.
  • Cornhole Tournament at Little Woodrow’s EaDo | No Cover – Give it your best shot and aim for a win during a friendly cornhole tournament where visitors can win prizes at Little Woodrow’s in EaDo. 3pm.
  • Freedmen’s Town Black Bike Tour in Fourth Ward – Join The Way Fellowship every fourth Saturday of the month for a Black history tour of historic Freedmen’s Town, departing immediately following the Freedmen’s Town Farmers Market. $7. 3pm.
  • Agricole Hospitality’s Virtual Wine/Sake Tasting | Virtual – Do it up at home while experiencing a virtual wine and sake tasting class from Agricole Hospitality and Vine Connections which includes a tasting kit. $65 per person; $10 from each ticket will be donated to I’ll Have What She’s Having, to support healthcare for women in the hospitality industry. 5pm.
  • Face It Exhibition Opening Reception at Jack Rabbit Gallery | FREE – Get a first look at The Heights’ latest group exhibition, Face It, during an opening reception where guests can take in the work of artists Carlos Games de Francisco, Juan Carlos Navarro, Matthew Paoletti, and Feebee Joynt, and their unique interpretation of the feminine spirit. 6pm to 9pm.
  • A Night Under The Stars: Chef’s Table Experience at Bar 9 Rooftop at Hilton Houston Plaza Enjoy cocktails, live jazz, and a four-course dinner at this black-tie gala to break in the new, outdoor Bar 9 Rooftop above the Hilton Houston Plaza in the Medical Center. A portion of each ticket sold will go to support Covenant House Texas, which assists homeless youth in the region. Formal attire is required. $185. 6:30pm to 10pm.
  • Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo: Black Heritage Committee’s Virtual Western Gala | Virtual – Put on your cowboy boots and join the virtual fun when the Black Heritage Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo presents an online edition of their annual Western Gala, hosted by ABC 13’s Erica Simon and featuring a silent auction, a catered dinner for up to 10 people, as well as direct financial support to HLSR’s Black Heritage Committee. 7pm.
  • Houston SaberCats vs. New England Free Jacks at Aveva Stadium Salute the Houston SaberCats, H-Town’s Major League Rugby (MLR) team, as they battle it out against New England at Aveva Stadium in South Houston. $15, but you may find better or cheaper seats on the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7pm.
  • Sugar Land Movie Night Drive-In: Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Screening at The Crown Festival Park Warm your heart during a drive-in screening of director Zoya Akhtar’s 2011 Indian Hindi-language, buddy road comedy, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which tells the story of two lifelong friends on a road trip through Spain instead of throwing a traditional bachelor party. $20 per car. 7:30pm.

  • Houston Heights Market on White Oak Drive | No Cover – Start your morning market hunt at this popular local vendor market that takes place at Onion Creek Cafe and at the corner of Studewood and White Oak. Between the two locations, just a few blocks apart, you’ll find artisan jewelry, clothing and other goods alongside ready-made foods and a special array of local vendors. 10am to 3pm.
  • Bazaar on the Bayou at White Oak Music Hall | No Cover – Check out more than 75 local vendors in the heart of the Heights at the Bazaar on the Bayou: A White Oak Music Hall Sip & Stroll. 10am to 5pm.
  • Wanderlust Market HTX at HTX Sports Creek | No Cover – Get outdoors while shopping from more than 30 vendors and enjoying live music, an outdoor bar, games and more. 11am to 4pm.
  • Helen Perry’s Eticool School at Brennan’s of HoustonBring the kiddos to learn all about the importance of clear communication, manners, and their role in success, when Brennan’s of Houston and host Helen Perry present Eticool School, where children 8 to 12 are invited to attend a limited seating, three-course brunch in one of Brennan’s private rooms. Dressy attire is required. $100 per person. Noon to 1:45pm.
  • Bellaire Open Air HTX Market at Evelyn’s Park Head to Bellaire for an outdoor shopping experience at the Open Air HTX Market where guests can shop from local artisans and vendors at Evelyn’s Park. Noon to 4pm.
  • Dated Faded Worn Vintage Meet at Bayou City Event Center Rejoice for vintage heaven while shopping from more than 70 vendors slinging era-inspired clothes from the ’80s, ’90s and 2000s apparel as well as music, art, memorabilia and more. $10 presale; $35 for VIP early access. Noon to 6pm.
  • Marcus Eldridge in Concert at The Rustic Downtown | No Cover – Spend your early evening enjoying singer-songwriter tunes in the heart of Downtown when Tomball native Marcus Eldridge takes the stage at The Rustic. 4pm to 6pm.
  • Traditional Irish Music on the Patio at Brasil | No Cover – Dine in for dinner and enjoy an evening of casual, traditional Irish music on the open-air back patio of Brasil in Montrose. The set is free to watch, but dinner and drinks are on you. 6pm to 8pm.
  • Samantha Fish in Concert at The Heights Theater Get your singer-songwriter fix when Kansas City’s own Samantha Fish hits the stage at The Heights Theater for a night filled with guitar-driven, genre-defying tunes that blend rock, funk, bluegrass and more, during two socially-distanced sets. $36 to $464. 6pm and 8:45pm; doors open 30 minutes before both shows.
  • The Gumbo Jam at Darwin’s Pub | No Cover – Kick back while dining and jamming out to the laid back sounds of Team Horn Section when they take to the stage at Darwin’s Pub for a Louisiana-inspired jam off of Washington Ave. 8pm.
