The final two games of the SheBelieves Cup take place this week, and five Houston Dash players are slated to suit up for their national teams; defender Allysha Chapman, midfielder Sophie Schmidt and forward Nichelle Prince for Canada, while midfielder Kristie Mewis and goalkeeper Jane Campbell join the roster for the United States.
In the first of two final tournament games, Canada will face Brazil followed by the United States taking on Argentina. The USWNT can claim top spot with a draw or win, while Canada and Brazil will be competing for a likely second place finish. Matches begin at 3pm and 6pm CST.
The 2021 SheBelieves Cup is the sixth edition of the invitational women’s soccer tournament and it provides teams an important tune-up ahead of this summer’s Olympic games. All six games of the tournament are being played at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Click here for more information.
