2021 Sundance Film Festival Houston | Daily – Grab your popcorn and ready yourself for a special satellite screening of the Sundance Film Festival in Houston, with films shown at Moonstruck Drive-In in the East End and at a special pop up drive-in at the historic DeLuxe Theater in Fifth Ward. The final day of the daily screenings is Tuesday, February 2, 2021. $30 per vehicle for all screenings. Times vary.
3rd Annual Galveston Museum Day | Daily | FREE | Virtual & In-Person – The special weeklong 2021 version of the island’s annual discounted museum celebration continues, with free virtual tours of must-see museums and destinations. The attractions—including the 1877 Tall Ship Elissa, Moody Mansion, Galveston Naval Museum, and more—are also open for socially distanced visits, several with special offers and incentives. Tours available 24 Hours. Prices and hours vary for visits.
Asia Society Texas Center presents Virtual Course: Learn American Mah Jongg | Thursday & Friday | Virtual – Get a comprehensive look at American Mah Jongg as teachers Donna Gibbon and Alicia Eissler host a virtual class that works through the basic theory of the game, history, American rules, strategies and more. 4:30pm to 6:30pm both days.
Houston Symphony presents Beethoven 8 + Haydn at Jones Hall | Friday to Sunday | Virtual Option – Marvel as the Houston Symphony and their principal cellist Brinton Averil Smith takes center stage for Haydn’s virtuosic Cello Concerto No. 2, as well as Beethoven’s beloved Symphony No. 8 and more. $29; live stream tickets for the Saturday, January 30 performance are $20. Duo • Identity at Archway Gallery | Friday to Sunday – Examine complementary three-dimensional figurines and the life-size two-dimensional pieces of Jiashan Land and Anthony Pablillano in Archway Gallery’s joint exhibit, Duo • Identity. On view through Thursday, February 4, 2021. Times vary.
MF DOOM Mural at Lo-Fi in Montrose | Daily | FREE – Make a stop along the Westheimer Curve to check out the latest mural added to Montrose’s colorful collection, paying tribute to the late, legendary rapper MF DOOM on the outdoor wall of vintage clothing shop Lo-Fi. All day.
Seismique Interactive Art Museum | Daily – Wander into a tech-fueled, interactive, intergalactic-inspired art exhibition with 40 exhibits from national and local artists. Starts at $35; $28 for ages 12 and under. Times vary.

Filth: A Stand Up Show at Rudyard’s British Pub – Fall out of your chair laughing during an evening of uncensored comedy from local stand-up comedians where nobody is safe and even the crowd risks getting roasted by the two hosts.
