  • Farmers Market at Imperial Park Recreation Center in Sugar Land | No Cover – Grab food truck fare, freshly-harvested fruits and vegetables, baked goods and more from area farmers and artisans at this Sugar Land farmers market. 9am to 1pm.
  • Tai Chi at Discovery Green | FREE – Find your calm with a free session of tai chi and meditation led by Simone Oliver of Four Dragons Institute, which focuses on slow, meditative movements for increased health and mental well-being, at Discovery Green in Downtown. 10:15am to 11:15am.
  • Jack Rabbit Gallery Market & Small Business Saturday in The Heights | No Cover – Shop local on Small Business Saturday at a market featuring unique handmade goods and gifts by local artisans, makers, and creatives. 11am to 4pm.
  • Year 10: Anniversary Bash at No Label Brewing Co. | No Cover – Swing through Katy to celebrate the tenth anniversary of No Label Brewing Company with an all-day event featuring live music, axe throwing, Santa Claus and more than 24 beers on-tap. Food, drink and axe-throwing are available for purchase. Noon to 10pm.
  • Zoo Lights VIP Experience Night at Houston Zoo Get into the holiday spirit while checking out animals from around the globe with early access to Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo. VIP tickets offer daytime Zoo admission, a complimentary meal at Cypress Circle Café, and exclusive access to Zoo Lights before the public enters. $75. Must enter the Zoo before 3pm.
  • The Band of Heathens: Unplugged Concert at The Heights Theater Head to the Heights to enjoy an evening of unplugged rock and roll tunes from Austin-based The Band of Heathens, when they perform two socially distanced acoustic sets. Nicki Bluhm opens. $34 to $464. 6pm and 8:45pm.
  • SPA presents An Evening with Chevy Chase & Beverly D’Angelo on Zoom – Join in a virtual salute to the 1989 holiday classic, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, featuring Clark and Ellen Griswold themselves. The actors will share stories about their experiences in the Vacation franchise, talk about their favorite memories, and take live questions. $25. 7pm.
  • Market Junction in Concert at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck – Get your folk music fix when Americana foursome Market Junction brings their somber Texas songwriting to the stage at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck in Upper Kirby for a socially distant performance that will also be broadcast online for free on Facebook and YouTube pages. $120 for a table of four; $180 for a table for six. 7pm.
  • Miller Outdoor Theatre Virtual Series: Da Camera presents The Etienne Charles Sextet | FREE – Tune in for the sounds of reggae, Calypso, and Afro-Caribbean music melded into a modern jazz conception when Miller Outdoor Theatre and Da Camera present a virtual concert from The Etienne Charles Sextet, featuring the Trinidadian trumpeter and his seven-member band. The show will be available for viewing after the original broadcast begins. 7pm to 8:10pm.

  • Saturday Late Night DJ Set at FM Kitchen and Bar | No Cover – Relax over food and drinks while unwinding to a set from DJ James Keith and enjoying a late-night menu at FM Kitchen and Bar near the Heights. 8pm to 11:55pm.
